Light weight, battery life not bad, assembly easy and like the new design which is way easier than the one it was replacing. Does the job and hopefully it'll last as long as my first one.

I love the adjustability of this product. You can adjust the length of the main shaft, the angle of the cutting head, and the tilt of the cutting head. It is very lightweight, and very quiet, but has not failed any cutting I put before it. Not a lot of use for the edger, but it does work, and the wheel makes it super easy. It came with the battery and a charger and a spool of cutting thread, and the assembly was super easy. It was up and running in minutes. A great tool. Can't speak for the longevity yet, as I have only owned it for a few weeks, but despite it being lightweight, it looks and feels very sturdy and well put together

Bought this string trimmer against my better judgement. Nothing is better than a gas powered trimmer! Unfortunately gas powered trimmers haven't been very kind to me. They last about one or maybe two seanons and they're done. Small engine repair guys tell me it'd be cheaper to buy a new one than to have them work on them. So I get the Worx GT WG162 12" trimmer. It's very light weight. I could carry this thing around all day. The pre loaded spools are easy to load and they last a long time. Line feeding is easy and fast. Battery life is 30 minutes and it takes 5 hours to recharge after the battery cools down (probably 10 to 15 minutes). That's not as bad as it sounds but I would recommend having a second battery and I'll probably get one of those 1 hour quick chargers. Other than that I've given this thing a pretty good work out so far. Mind you I'm not taiming anything wildly overgrown. I realize this thing has limitations. I'm talking simple around the yard trimming and I did a fairly long overgrown section of chain link fence, some ditches and such as that. I've had it for 2 going on 3 weeks and so far I'm pretty impressed. The only thing I'm not as impressed with is the edging but I'm getting the hang of it. Overall I think this thing is going to out do my old gas powered trimmers. If I get 3 or 4 seasons out of this thing then I figure it was a hundred bucks well spent and I'd buy another one.

I really like this cordless trimmer and edger. I had to go to YouTube for instructions on how to assemble and operate. Thank goodness for individuals assisting me with this function Once assembled I applied power and was amazed at the power it demonstrates, but the ground is very wet right now to see what it can do. Once I'm able to use this equipment I'm certain that the results will be great. I have several WORX yard equipment and so far I am pleased with them all. The price was right as it included a battery and charger where other products only had the trimmer.

I think this is our 3rd Worx trimmer since they began making them. Lightweight, handy. The battery doesn't last very long on ours. We have three batteries we swap out to do the trimming. I know they have larger capacity batteries available and we recently ordered one thru the Vine program to review when it arrives. The wife loves this thing. The trimmer line is replaced by replacing the old cartridge with a new preloaded line cartridge. She changes the cartridge herself easily and that's one less thing for me to worry about. If you're still using a gas trimmer, sell it and buy one of these (and a larger capacity battery). You'll be glad you did.

Works fine but is a single string and not very powerful so it takes longer to trim than my gas trimmer. This one is considerably lighter than my gas mower but all the weight at the far end so it harder on your forearms.

I must have been one of the lucky ones most of the reviews say the battery sucks it last 5 minutes or 10 minutes or 15 minutes it breaks it's hard to put together yada yada mine was completely put together I just had to put the guard on the bottom with a Phillips head screw driver and the wheels just snap on for the edger but the height adjustment all you do is move a little clasp over and you can adjust it and push the clasp back in the middle I don't know how long mine charged I put it in the charger and went up to my room and fell asleep but the next day it was obviously fully charged I was eager to try it on a full charge and I did my complete yard and my yard is an acre and a half and I'm disabled I wobble when I walk so I don't do it as fast as a normal person would I mean all of the bricks around the house all 20 bushes alongside the driveway all the trees around the house Big trees I didn't edge yet but I will for the meantime I just weedeated all along the edges of the road around the yard and the driveway and the sidewalk I didn't even know there was a hose underneath all of the weeds that had grown so tall on the side of my house 😁. I Love Mine! I bought the wg-162 model and if you scroll down it says frequently bought together I bought the six pack of spools that came with it frequently bought together I only had to replace the spool One Time by the way that was kind of challenging as soon as I took the end from the clip that held it together it kind of shot out like a cannon and it took me a while to roll it back up to where I could put it through the circle in the guard before I could snap it on but other than that it's been perfect oh and automatic feed I don't have a button on my handle like all the videos show but there's a little teeny button on the very bottom that you push three times and it resets the automatic feed system and I did keep checking all the way through the cut but I didn't have to because it fed the spool automatically the whole entire time David P. You can imagine how long it took me to do the weed eating it took me 3 hours to cut our grass that's because we have the Grass full of clovers that are just so incredibly thick from raining all the time it's just incredible it's been 75° here for 3 days in a row and some of them are still wet in areas and the mower cuts off clogged up I do the whole yard with a push mower in my condition it would normally take four men in fit condition to do our yard but they charge too much with rider mowers and power weed eaters etc when while I still can I can do it myself I'm going to plus it's the only way I can still get outside I used to be able to do it in a snap oh and it's supposed to rain the next 3 days in a row so the clovers would be ridiculous by the time they ever dried out enough for me to cut it again

What’s not to like about this little guy. For me, the battery has outlasted me ( I’m old) !!! So it works perfect for me and does it cut that grass and weeds!! I’ve used it twice now for lengthy times. I’m sorry but I have yet to time the battery. I haven’t had to replace any string yet and believe me I put it through it’s paces. I like the button on the bottom to let out more string. I’ve only done that twice to get the string back to length but it wasn’t all that short. The trigger is easy but not so easy a child could make it run. You push a button before you can press the trigger. It’s so easy to put together, use and makes quick work of trimming. ( of course the time it takes to get the trimming done depends on the size of the job). All in all a very good buy Update: I LOVE this trimmer. I am a septuagenarian so muscles aren’t like they used to be so it’s awesome how little muscle it takes to use this baby. I’ve used this trimmer a LOT and had to use a new spool… I mean hey, that first little spool lasted beautifully. I’m just so impressed with this trimmer. It’s usually problems with the string on trimmers. The constant stopping to fix the string but none of that happens with this guy. Sure the string breaks off at some point but its so light weight that it’s easy peasy. I’m just so very happy with this trimmer.

So far it has been efficient around fences and patio stones. It is easy to use and is light weight. I cannot rate the battery life as I have used it only once.

Wanted to get away from the noisy, smelly gas trimmers so tried this. Trimmer works good but cutting string could not reach grass with edging wheel attached. Battery life adequate. Light weight and easy to store. Could use a little bit more power but all in all a good product. A bit on the pricey side for what you get in my opinion.
