I bought two XXL and two Large of these towels they each came with a handtowel. I saw a lot of reviews complaining that the overlock stitching unravels immediately so the first thing I did was examine the overlocking.These are cheaply made, so the corners are not properly overlocked by either running a continuous rounded corner or overstitching and then oversewing in the turn, and the corners also don't leave tails that can be tucked in - they are simply cut close and this will ALWAYS unravel. HOWEVER, this is stretch overlock so the solution is simple - just use a lighter or candle to gently melt the overlocking at each corner before laundering and use. I spent literally 2 minutes doing this to all (32) corners of my towels. They have now been through multiple uses and launderings and are still overlocked. But, this material will still hold up even if your edges loosen because it's not a woven fabric.As with any fabric that is meant to be super absorbent, it's important to pre-launder to remove any production residue that will inhibit absorbency, and above all DO NOT use fabric softener! I did one pre-wash and allowed to air-dry. They are soft, pliant, and pack up tightly. If you're not familiar with travel towels, don't expect a cushy velour - these are more like car chamois, but I definitely like them better than the ones I have from Hudson Trail Outfitters from about 10 years ago, which are more like a thin crepe silky rayon.When soaked, I would estimate that these hold about 4-5 times their weight in water. The two XXL are for two larger adults and the Larges are for a tall 8 and tall 6 year old. In retrospect, I would have gone with XL for the children - large is good for showering, but XL is more appropriate as a beach towel size and the weight/pack difference is so minimal. These also do good double duty as blankets/throws - we camped in the low 40s and an unexpected cold front brought night temps down to freezing. We used the large towels as extra ground barrier and the XXL towels as extra cover and they provided a noticeable layer of additional warmth, so I am certain these would be excellent on a breezy beach day.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will likely buy two more as spares to keep in our vehicles.

I bought first towel almost 2 years ago, I use it regularly several times a week when I go swimming. It's very absorbent, dries super quick. With all this use, it still looks brand new, did not fade, the color doesn't run in wash. The only thing is that it doesn't slide across your body like regular towels, but that's not a big deal. I bought several more of these towels as gifts.

A very good deal. I ended up cutting one of these into smaller sizes and have been very pleased with their performance.

These are really useful particularly for camping and floating. They can keep things dry as well as keep you cool but putting it around your neck. They pack down small and are washable. This is really nice in a two-pack if you want more than one.

I had no compass to link a towel to its monetary value. It may have been have a bit of a shirt of the dark but the pics were clean and the simple enough. For me who walks a lot. I knew I need an alternative to my eco-unfriendly practice of using 0 folds of paper towel. I ok my got two and they last me a week. The Size I chose is 16” to 20” I believe. Perfect to wipe away the sweat of the following 20mins. If you are looking for a similar item, your search is over.

Not sure I like this fabric - it doesn't slide well across the skin. It grabs, but it does collect sweat well. Soft, not scratchy. Looks nice and good size. I think if I had to choose again, I'd pass on this one. But still a good towel.

Very handy when going camping ,dries quickly, soft and takes up very little space.

I purchased the 16 x 32 towel 2 pack and they're just too small for my hair and don't stay wrapped on my head. That being said, it absorbs water very well. I use it now for drying my glass shower--it's so much faster than the squeegee and dries it COMPLETELY! Takes less than a minute to dry the glass walls and door. Also, I'm not laundering these towels separate from my other towels which are all white and get bleached AND fabric softener and I have absolutely NO problem with these microfiber towels absorbing water.

These are actually really absorbent and you would not expect that by looking at it paper thin. We got these for when we go camping and visit hot springs and they dry way faster than a regular towel. The large size is comparable to a very large towel

It’s excellent for travelling, convenient, not heavy. Ideal camping.
