Bride of Chucky [DVD] [1999] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]

One of the now many sequels to the classic killer doll film and one of my favourites. I love Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany! The animation of the dolls is excellent and there are a lot of in-jokes and nods to other horror films throughout. It's a cheesy story line and not exactly cerebral viewing, but good fun and tongue-in-cheek.

“I always come back!” 1 of the best lines from Chucky. For me this is 1 of the best in the series, violence, humour & 1 liners mixed in with marriage.

A hilariously amusing horror film. If you like chucky you will like this.

I like the change in genre. It's not meant to be a horror anymore, it's just made for laughs.The acting was quite poor from everyone except the two main characters. I know in a movie like this you don't except great acting, but it was seriously face palm worthy some times.Apart from that I love this movie. I think Tilly and Douriff were awesome together, and the characters complemented each other perfectly. I love the fact that Chucky isn't just able to control his bride. They are perfect pair of psychopaths.The story could have been a bit better, but you've got to be in the moment with a movie like this. Enjoy it for what it is.

Great laugh, original, well made. Not complicated, easy viewing- my kind of film. One of the films,for me, to put on list of favourites along with The Producers & Dr Strangelove.

After what I think was a poor movie (Childs play 3) I'm glad they thought of bringing Jennifer Tilly in and made her a love interest. The love story between chucky & Tiffany is sweet but in a twisted kind of way. And to have 2 dolls for the price of 1 is clever. The story is OK but the murdering is gruesome with a hint of comedy. Chucky is back to his best!

Been looking for this one to finish my collection and I found it. It's not one of the best in the Childs Play/Chucky collection but it is a great film overall.

Real nice blu-ray pressing. I found the movie to be even more fun than the last time I visited it. you really can't go wrong with the Chucky & Tiffany team, especially with the imaginative Ronnie Yu directing. Very lively and entertaining.

For me personally, this one was the best sequel after the original, so it's awesome that Bride of Chucky finally gets it's own Blu-ray release.As for picture quality, I was pleasantly surprised. It's not the best of what the format has to offer, but it's light years ahead of the DVD. Audio was also great, with Universal offering a DTS-HD MA track.Bonus features are a little skimpy, but you get a couple of things:* Bride of Chucky Spotlight on location* Feature commentary with Ronny Yu, Jennifer Tilly, Brad Dourif and Don ManciniOverall, a great release for fans who held off on the boxset.
