I'm a huge Avatar fan, I love all of the comics, but this was so not worth it.
This book was supposed to be released back in September, 2018. After being delayed (I believe) 3 times, it finally released in October, 2019. I got it in the mail slightly damaged (2nd comic in a row after Imbalance Part 3 that I've had this issue with), but I thought if the stories were good, that'll make up for it.Well, they weren't. After waiting more than a year and going through 3 delays, all we get are 8 poorly written (and sometimes drawn) stories, 3 of which were already released for Free Comic Book Day in years prior. That means only 5 of these stories are actually new content, and most of them are pretty lackluster. I was sort of expecting something more along the lines of The Lost Adventures, which added some depth to the characters and filled in some missing details from the series, while still having some enjoyable and laid back stories. This is certainly not that. There are some brief moments of positivity, there are a couple bits of good humor in there and not all the stories are bad ("Origami" had its moments and "Toph and the Boulder" was probably the most enjoyable). However, outside of those, there's nothing really of substance here, and what should have felt like a lighthearted series of stories felt like a slog with painfully unfunny humor, weak dialogue, and art that hurts to look at.Honestly, I cannot recommend this purchase, which hurts me to say because I'm such a huge Avatar fan and have had enjoyed all of the comics so far, from both this series and The Legend of Korra. Instead, buy The Lost Adventures, it's a few bucks more, but it's got better stories (several of which are written by former writers of the show), has better art, and feels a lot more like content from Avatar: The Last Airbender. This feels like Dark Horse putting the most minimal amount of effort into this as possible, just to make a quick buck.

Toph and The Boulder is worth this purchase!
I bought Team Avatar Tales, The Lost Adventures, The Promise, and The Search after I finished watching Avatar: The Last Airbender.I read a review saying that the reviewer thought Team Avatar Tales was a waste of money, and that The Lost Adventures was better. They're both good, in my opinion.Team Avatar Tales comes in at around 72 pages, whereas The Lost Adventures comes out at a little over 200 pages. This paperback book was about $10 new, whereas Lost Adventures was a little under $20 for the paperback, so the price is relatively good (the comics are in color, and color printing is more expensive, which is why the books are a little pricey). The Lost Adventures gives a little more reading material for your money. This book is shorter, so if you didn't like a story it'll feel like more of a hit to your money, whereas Lost Adventures is three times longer, so it would take three bad stories to equal one bad story in this book, in terms of value and ratio of content. I found both comics had stories I liked and didn't like, and both are five-star comics.I was initially reluctant to buy this comic because the cover and some of the internal artwork didn't look that good. I only bought it because I would rather have a physical version of the comics. I wanted to own them, not read them for free online. I also wanted to give this a try because I'm a completionist, and I didn't want to miss anything from the world of The Avatar. After I bought it, I didn't read it right away, because the cover and an initial glance of the interior didn't have me excited for the artwork. Lost Adventures didn't look that great at first glance either, but after I read that I also liked it. The two are of similar quality, in my opinion. However, after I started reading this comic I read it all at once, and I was sad after I finished it, because I wanted more. This comic contains:ReboundThe SubstituteShellsSokka's PoemToph and the BoulderOrigamiSistersThe ScarecrowToph and The Boulder, and The Scarecrow, were my favorite short stories.Sokka's Poem was the worst, in my opinion. The artwork was terrible, and the storytelling didn't even come close to the haiku story in the animated series. However, this short story was only two pages long, so it was okay.Rebound tells the story of Mai after the 100-year was is over. I liked how it developed her character a little in regards to her family. The Substitute told a story of Sokka's antics with his Fire Nation disguises.Shells told the story of Suki's strength, and her helping uplift other people and give them hope.Toph and The Boulder (see picture) was hilarious and showed a different side of The Boulder that we didn't see in the animated series.Origami told the story of Katara and about not losing hope in the face of adversity.Sisters explores Ty Lee's feelings of whether or not she belongs in The Kyoshi Warriors, and explores her relationship with her six other identical siblings. The Scarecrow showed the humor between Sokka and the rest of his friends. The artwork of this book takes some getting used to. It's not worse than the animation of the animated series, and it's not worse than the artwork in The Lost Adventures. It's just different and unique in its own way.Get this book if you want to learn more about some of the side characters, and you want to think deeper about the world of The Avatar, hope, friendship, and more.Note: I purchased a new copy of this book and the cover was bent, so I returned it. I got a second copy and dried glue was oozing out of the inside of the back cover (along the whole length of the spine). There were two long strands of glue sticking out, so I cut the longer strand in half. The longer strand of glue was two inches long. It's too much work to return it again, so the the printing quality of this book may not be up to par compared to the rest of the Avatar comics.

Great for an Avatar fan!
I've been a fan of ATLA for about as long as I can remember, I have a whole library full of all of the Avatar and Korra comics, and I have to admit, it felt a little incomplete because of the different Comic Book Day comics that were previously only available online. I'd say that if you're a casual fan, your money is much better spent on a different ATLA comic, but if you're like me and soak up every bit of content you can get- this is for you! I loved the different art styles, especially Faith Erin Hicks' version of Team Avatar! I hope to see more stuff like this from the ATLA team in the future.

Nice anthology
The wait was well worth it, and I enjoyed all the small stories set in the Avatar universe. Some of the stories I had already read, but it was good to have them all together here in one fine package. The additional stories were entertaining too. Good little anthology.

Save your money
1) Book came damaged with a bent spine and scratch mark's2) It's stories and art work are nothing like the other Avatar books. They lack luster and depth. Not worth the money.

The lastest Avatar product is here!!
This fantastic product came in today. It has came in great shape, un mint cindition and with no flaw. For the comics itself- it is written lightly, very colirful- a delight!Recommended for any Avatar fan out there- treat yourself with the last instalment of the Avatar universe and canon- you'll not regret it.
