My daughter made some mixed drinks during Thanksgiving using a shaker and I loved how they turned out . . I found out I like "shaken and not stirred" :) . So when we got home, I did some searching on Amazon and found this lovely set. I sent the link out for a Christmas gift idea for me as they always complain that I buy whatever I want and am so hard to buy for. :) Bad sentence structure there, but whatever . . anyway . . I ordered a set for myself because I never know WHAT I'm going to receive - and now I have TWO sets! I put one back for a future wedding gift because it is really a lovely unit. I did find out, when making a Moscow Mule, DON'T shake it after you add the ginger beer!!!!!

These tools will definitely hold up at a professional bar. I work a craft bar and have no problem using these. The only reason I took a star off was the recipe book. No one edited it, or consulted a real bartender. The recipes on a lot of the cocktails are wrong. Like not even close, and some of the methods were just copied from another recipe in the book, making no sense at all.

I love my bartending equipment. My only complaint is that the 2 stainless jugs are very hard to separate after you shake them with ice. It's just the way it is because I guess the ice makes it expand, but I wish there was a solution. Other than that, this is a great set and well worth the money!

It's very nice, i bought it for myself to learn how to make coctails so im very new to this. Only downside is when you shake with ice the cups extend and its really hard to take them apart.. maybe i am doing something wrong here but i thought i ahould give an honest review.

I absolutely love this bartender kit !Great as a gift - wonderfully presented in a very stylish box and good quality.Purchased it for my best friends party and it went down like a treat, girls loved it !As a bartender in a cocktail bar I can see the quality in this product. It has an airtight seal which means there's no leakage and it's easy to pour. The strainer most definitely helps I felt like a professional again and have a unique design.Overall it's a great and must have cocktail shaker set !

I opened the box and was surprised because of the good quality that reflects: solid stainless steel pieces; all the tools and accessories (long spoon, double jigger; strainer) its very complete and the price is very reasonable. I think you get most of what you need to bar tendering.. recommendable.

This bartender kit is superb. The metal is high quality and the liquid never spills. out. The hawthorne strainer it’s really well done to hold a piece of fruits, herbs, and ice, the spoon has a good feeling with the hand.Each of the items feels robust to the touch and no doubt could see you through many occasions with friends or family.This is a perfect cocktail set at an excellent price!

Great bar set- love it! Shakers can be a tricky thing- you don’t want it to come apart to easily while shaking but it’s no good if you can’t open it to pour your drink either...this shaker works perfectly and easily! My favorite pieces though are the cocktail picks- such beautiful pieces! Highly recommend this set!
