Works Really Well
I am almost through my roll of 3/4" pre-glued edge banding from Edge Supply and it has been working really well for me. I bought some more of the 3/4" and some of the 2" for a specialty project. The adhesion of the edge banding works perfectly for me every time. I just use a cheap iron to melt it on and the process is fast and I always feel confident in it. I have been trimming the banding to size with a utility knife and that works really well. It's close enough that I probably don't even need to sand it.The birch stains well and is a nice match for the Home Depot birch plywood sheets and complements the pine sheets nicely as well.Overall, I couldn't ask for a better product and it seems to be one of the less expensive brands as well.

Get 7/8” Banding for your 3/4” projects.
The media could not be loaded. Goes on very easily with a hot iron. First time users might want a hand holding about 1/2” overhang on starting side so it doesn’t pull away, or just be careful to watch that it doesn’t pull away as you go.I went with the 7/8” thickness to not have to be perfect on 3/4” plywood and trim excess material. Cuts easily on ends and no tear out with proper tools, but direction matters in trimming upper and lower excess. This Birch banding perfectly matched both my pine plywood and sande plywood table tops that got spar urethane finish, so I’m not sure yet how it stains, but definitely a perfect match for both plywood types if you just use a clear varnish. Will definitely buy again and will likely get the 3/4” banding for my 1/2” plywood applications.

A lot of options on the market, GLAD I chose this one!
This is the first time I've ever used edge banding. However, when I received the package I was shocked to see it in a plastic envelope... I worried that it would be chipped, bent or even damaged. When I opened the flimsy package I was surprised to see no damage at all. This banding is incredible easy to use with a $18 iron from a local box store. It goes on easy, it is easy to manipulate while hot and it feels permanent when it cools down.I used a few tools to make sure this was a perfect install.1. Scrap piece of round metal is used to press the banding down hard during install before it cools, forcing the glue into the plywood edge.2. Edge banding cutter (blue tool) works amazing IF you have a straight unobstructed run.3. The razor knife is used to carefully cut areas the blue tool could not reach.Over all I'm very pleased with the quality of the banding, the adhesive and the ease of install. Will buy much more!

The iron-on glue holds great.
I wondered how effective the glue would be, but it holds really well. I ordered a size about 1/16 of an inch too big so I had to trim them. Trimming was a pain so definitely try to get the exact size you need. The banding is unfinished. Since I was putting it on natural finished cabinets I simply gave it a shot of clear spray lacquer to seal it after it was applied. The results turned out well and I would recommend the product. This was used on the cabinets above and next to my range. The moisture from cooking had caused the original edgebanding to curl and come loose. Hopefully the real wood will stand up better than the cheap thin stuff they came with. I had much better results trimming to size before putting it on than trying to trim it afterward.

You know there has to be joints cause trees don't grow that tall!
Not the thickest I've ever used but it does a great job and the finish on this product is superior! Enough said!

SELLER MADE THIS RIGHT! Hobbyists beware!
UPDATE: After leaving my first review, the seller contacted me about the issues I had with this product. He explained although the discrepancies in the roll are unusual, it can happen. He was very apologetic and wanted to do whatever he could to make it right. I received a new roll of the same product and it is perfect. No issues whatsoever. Obviously the seller is someone who cares about not only selling his product, but making his customers happy. I would not hesitate to order again. I’m changing my rating to 5 stars.I ordered this product to use as hardwoods in a dollhouse. It came on a roll. I took the binding off the roll and proceeded to cut the “boards” for one room in the dollhouse. When I started putting the wood down I realized the roll had not been cut evenly. When I line up the boards there is a variance of at least 1/16th of an inch in some of the pieces I’ve cut, depending on what part of the roll the piece came from. This will require me to check every “board” and cost me considerable time. I can either measure each piece and trim accordingly or have different sizes of “boards” in each of the dollhouse rooms. Dollhouses aren’t ever built perfectly but for the money I paid for this product I’m not happy about having to fix or work around the seller’s mistake. I bought the product believing it would be 1/2” as advertised—not close to 1/2” in parts of the roll. I’d give zero stars if it was an option.

Perfect for Edging Plywood
I don't tend to use plywood for projects other than a base, covered with actual wood but there are times when plywood just works better in an application/project where it will be visible. Edges of plywood as you know are inconsistent and even with sanding & finishing, it still looks like plywood. This edge banding completely removes that problem and works beyond my satisfaction. I do however recommend using some kind of iron versus a heat gun. My first few attempts at applying were with a heat gun, it doesn't adhere as well and the banding can discolor. I actually used my wife's small heat iron that she uses on her vinyl after that, they are very inexpensive and the size is much more manageable versus a typical clothes iron. The iron just seems to make the adhesion that much stronger, I literally could not pull the stuff off after ironing, which wasn't the case with the heat gun. It can be bent around corners or cut to fit, but I would also recommend hitting it with 220 or higher grit sandpaper to make it look more natural, but do it while it's hot so the glue holds the sawdust as a sealer. It also stains/paints nicely. Definitely recommend it to friends, family, and fellow woodworkers looking to hide those hideous plywood edges.
