Hammer Time
Great item. Came in at perfect weight. Handle and wire are solid. Takes some strength and patience to assemble, but, let's be honest, being a Hammer Thrower takes strength and patience as well. Solid and durable. A few hundred throws in and still great.

Too long for competition use
The 4 kg hammer assembly was too long for use in competition. Ours was impounded at check in at a national meet. USATF rules allow maximum length from inside of handle to bottom of the ball of 1195mm. The wire provided was too long making this dimension 1213mm. To be legal they would need to supply a wire less than 38.5” or 977mm, the wire supplied was around 995mm or 39”. The rest of the assembly was very good and a good value.

Hammer with No Wire….
I’m very disappointed. I was so excited and when it arrived the wire was missing. I can’t believe it now I have to order a wire separately.

Hammer Without Wire included
Just received the Hammer. It came with a Handle and ball but no wire. The box was long but did not have the wire in it.

Missing parts
Did not come with handle or wire... I had to purchase them separately even though the description states that these come with them. Not even worth it trying to communicate with seller at this point.
