Sturdy construction, seem to allow good airflow. Using them attached to a box fan for cleaning firesmoke out of the house. The filters are getting gray in color in just a few days, so they seem to be doing the job.

This is by far the best air filter ever! This brand honestly makes the best of the best. It fits perfectly and the size is accurate. I purchased the value bundle and it is definitely worth every penny. The fit is so perfect so no noise when your air conditioning is on. I replace mine every 3 months faithfully.

This review is for the 16x25x1 (6 pack). For the last few years, I have been using a reusable filter that is supposed to last ten years which has worked ok for about 6 years, but as I found out over long term use, they don’t seem to clean the air as well as regular disposable filters with the same MERV rating. In addition, after the reusable filters get dirty over the first year or so, they don’t really clean out very well. So, I have gone back to these Filtrete filters after having a yearly A/C checkup. What really convinced me was the filter that the A/C tech put in was noticeably dirtier after 3 months than my reusable one (which is supposed to be equivalent to this filter), resulting in me changing my mind on how effective I thought they were. I do think these are a bit pricy per filter (the six pack is a bit better priced but still expensive), but these filters are made well and filter the dirty air very well. The filters fit in the slot like they are supposed to do with no issues. 4 stars

It's alright. The amount of filters it came with was the reason I bought it. I wasn't true worried about the higher level of filters. For the price and amount was better than other places.
