Matting Rolls- 4' x 8' Rolls-Set of 3 Rolls - Tropical Decor

I purchased this to cover the ceiling in my home Tiki Bar. Before use, plan on unrolling it and letting it sit flat for a few days. It arrives rolled and it takes a while for that roll to flatten out. Being hand woven, the sheets are not perfectly 4x8, but like a loose weave fabric you can sort of stretch it out to get an extra inch or so in any direction. I applied it to 1/4" plywood using "Roberts 6700-1 1 Gallon Indoor/Outdoor Carpet/Artificial Turf Adhesive" which I also purchased here on Amazon. I used a trowel as directed with the adhesive, then applied the bac-bac, using a roller to be certain it was firmly seated in the adhesive. Trust the trowel size recommended in the adhesive directions - if you go heavier the adhesive will seep through the holes in the bac-bac and you're in for a mess. After drying I trimmed the excess off the sides of the plywood using a utility knife. I'm very happy with the product. Next step - applying fire retardant.

I ordered this matting for installation in my tiki room. It arrived fast and packaged well with no damage, folding, tears, or anything negative. I have not installed it yet as it needs to acclimate for a couple days beforehand. I will use some adhesive but mainly staples driven into the OSB walls. Wish me luck! I would buy this product again if needed. I would have given 5 stars but the matting has an odor that is a bit of a strong musk but should diminish.
