Tons of learning activities
I don’t normally write reviews but this kit deserves one. There are so many fun games/activities to play. It gives you all of the cards and boards for each game/activity and clear instructions. The instructions give you the verbiage of how to explain the game and what to say to praise the child or help them when they don’t do something correctly.This is a huge kit don’t expect to be able to open it and get started right away. It’s important to read the book that accompanies it to understand the two different sections and where to get started. Just like the other review, I felt overwhelmed at first but once I spent an hour reading and going through all the activities I realized it’s actually very simple and highly organized.

The PDX Reading Specialists Dyslexia Toolkits are incredible.
This kit is amazing! I used it (and the kindergarten toolkit) in my special education classroom to support struggling readers (K-3). There are a wide variety of high quality lessons and activities to support beginning readers. I would highly recommend both kits.
