The delivery of the first tea pot was broken. The replacement was too small and not the size the description was given The pot was described as 2 cup By actual measure it was 1-2/3 This did not leave enough room for the tea bag without running the pot over so it came out to be 1-1/2 cups of tea. Totally not enough tea. Too much trouble to make another pot of tea and the next size tea pot was 4 cups so entirely too big. Guess I will regift the teapot because too much trouble to send back again and buy my teapot somewhere else.

This teapot is great. It can be used with teabags or loose tea. Unfortunately it cannot be washed in the dishwasher.

I'd been searching for a small, plain teapot, just the right size for brewing tea for one. This little pot is perfect. It holds 16 ounces -- two standard measuring cups -- of water. How many "teacups" that is for you depends on the size of your teacup, whether you're using the tiny bone china ones or the humongo coffee mugs! I recommend the G&H Tea Services Paris Tea-Cup Strainer to go with this. It fits in the top and allows loose leaf tea to brew with the hot water moving freely through the leaves. If you linger over your tea, you may want a small teapot cozy to keep the pot warm. Small pots cool faster than large ones.

When I received this item, it arrived with a broken lid. I called the seller directly and with no questions asked, they sent me out a new one (at no extra cost)and it arrived in excellent condition. I love this tea pot - it's perfect for one person, either with loose tea (I use a 2" mesh tea ball) or with two tea bags. The ceramic material appears to be of very high quality and is smooth and lustrous - and it hasn't yet become discolored from brewing strong tea. This is a great product.

This teapot is of an amazing high quality. It's a perfect size for one or two. The spout pours without any dripping, too. Of special note is the shape of the handle. It has just a slight upturn that makes it the most comfortable and secure handle I've ever used. You will not be disappointed in this teapot. However, my only suggestion would be to improve the box in which it comes. The pot does not fit and it would require another box should one wish to give it as a gift.
