poor fitting low quality plastic, low quality filtration
The good: Arrived quicker than expected, company is responsive, eventually KIND of works The bad: So much... Instructions suck, hard. They don't even mention you need to dissassemble the already assembled parts to remove the shrink wrap. They are just wrong on some parts Two parts don't actually fit, the hose adaptor and the RO membrane housing. Called the company the claimed other customers had no problems. After about two hours of attempts at teflon (and getting soaking wet as this is a pressurized system, did I mention it's winter? and getting soaking wet sucks) I got the RO membrane housing to seal, and gave up on the adapter. Went to home Depot, got a new adaptor. Got that to work with Teflon After an hour of flushing the system (and 3 hours of setting it up)it still only gets about 80% reduction in TDS :( The previous system I had cost a bit more but came ready out of the box and had 95% reduction in TDS (this promised 95% reduction, and said to replace membrane when it goes down to 90%...)
