This is a great Wii Guitar Controller and I really like it for two reasons: 1) it is affordable and 2) it works. It comes with rocker-inspired stickers that my kids appreciated, and it can be upgraded with any number of faceplates that are really expensive (in my opinion). Guitar Hero Rocks and this controller helps make it happen!

As soon as this guitar arrived the whammy bar did not work and when I played with the guitar it was poor quality.the guitar has lag issues and I had to calibrate the guitar over and over again and it still has lag problems.the guitar works good for only 5 to 10 minutes and then the wii guitar has problems after playing for 5 to 10 minutes.the guitar won't let me tap the buttons good and the strum bar has problems.don't waste your money on this product

I really enjoy playing the guitar hero games on my wii with this guitar. The only reason it loses one star with me is because of battery consumption. Because it vibrates ALOT, and is playing ALOT of sounds through the remote, the batteries last about 25 songs worth. Luckily I have rechargable batteries, but buyer beware if you still buy standard batteries. Other than that, its perfect. Was pretty easy to activate star power, buttons never stick, strummer always works, whammy is great. Please be aware that Rock Band 1 will improperly detect this guitar as a microphone! I do believe the seller already said this, but you should be aware.

After seeing the high reviews that this guitar controller received before I bought it I thought "Why not, it's inexpensive and apparently it work well." Well I'm here to tell you, based on my experience, this guitar controller didn't live up to my expectations...Initially everything was fine. The guitar looks just as good as the Activision guitar controller that came with Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. The center yellow fret button was a bit harder to push than the others but after three songs I was getting used to it. Me and my daughter enjoyed playing against each other in battles to prove who was "King (or Queen) of the Ax."It wasn't more than two hours into playing that I noticed the sounds of my notes were sounding strange - as if I was using the "wammy-bar" all the time. Sure enough, I was! The wammy-bar was stuck "on" the entire time. Nothing I did could keep it from un-sticking.I sent it back to "Electronics & Video Games Accessories" the next day. So here I am out more than $20.00 of shipping expenses just because I wanted to save some money from buying the more expensive Activision model.In short, spend the money and buy the real thing, the Activision guitar controller. My Activision controller hasn't broken with over a year of use.

The game is a blast, but this guitar is not great quality. The keys consistently get stuck and this guitar does not feel as solid as the one that came with the game.

I searched high and low for this guitar, not really knowing what I was looking for. I could not find it locally so I went to Amazon.com because I found out you can find anything there. Love the guitar. It's a lot of fun. I was really impressed how it all works together. I am new to all these games so of course everything has passed me by. I had to have a 10 year old show me how to use it...but it is very enjoyable.
