Excellent workmanship and quality I just can’t fault this item. Starting with the calico storage bag that the mattress protector arrived in to taking it out and fitting it over my mattress it just oozes with luxury and quality and it fitted just perfectly. Whilst having used it for only a few nights thus far, sleeping on it has been a dream... it’s lovely, it’s comfy and it’s soft and it has maintained the perfect temperature being warm yet cool, (this might sound a contradiction but it regulates the ideal temperature as stated). I cannot recommend this product highly enough it is simply the very best mattress protector I’ve ever used (and I’ve worked in 5 star luxury hotels) just try it; it certainly won’t disappoint.

As a kiwi, I've always had wool bedding - and when we got a double bed for our youngest, we treated her to a wool duvet. She also has a wool underlay from the wool room and is very comfortable and cosy in her new bed. If you've never had wool bedding then get on it - it doesn't shift like feathers, and it keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter. This one makes a rustling sound when you move but I actually really like this. Excellent product.

I love this Woolroom mattress protector. I bought it to protect my considerable investment in a Harrison Spinks bed and it is well worth the money. As the bed is all natural (wool etc), I wanted a natural mattress protector, rather than synthetic/plastic, as it would defeat the object of the mattress' breathability and probably damage it as well in the long run. It adds a smoothing element to the buttons on the mattress surface and even more comfort. It is also deep enough to comfortably fit a deep mattress. The best thing is that it regulates your temperature and you don't get hot and wake up in the night. I would get hot previously on my previous beds even with a goose feather and down topper and therefore disturbed sleep, but now, I'm much more comfortable all round. It is a great product and every bed should have one. The fact that it is washable is fantastic too. Thank you, Woolroom.

An article I read suggested that natural fibres are cooler in the hot weather and the Woolroom mattress topper got high marks for that. I didn't need a topper so I bought this Woolroom mattress protector instead and I love it! It is so smooth and cool. Not cheap for a protector but I think it's worth every penny.

Got this mattress protector to hide the annoying buttons on my mattress and it does the job beautifully. Its not thick (maybe a couple cm?) but adds noticeable comfort without feeling like I'm totally sinking into it and losing all support. However "temperature regulating" is nonsense. Its a layer of wool. Its going to feel warm. I look forward to that warmth in the winter but currently its a little on the toasty side.

This looked great and was excited to receive. But unfortunately we ordered a king and received a single. Packaging was labelled king so not fault of picker. Amazon customer service was great and issued refund but still have to go through pain of sending back. However the single protector looked very good quality, had super nice feel but can make no comment on comfort as have no single bed to try it on.
