Seagate ST3750640AS Barracuda 750 GB SATA 3.0GB/s Internal Hard Drive

Upon delivery and installation, the product turned out not to be what I wanted, but after calling the sales lady, she offered a return/refund. Unfortunately, I was in a situation of priorities and did not have the time needed to perform the return at that time, so I accepted the product as is with no fault on anybody but me. The next thing I knew, I was being notified by the sales lady that she had already processed a refund and that I could return the drive whenever I could find the time. She told me to take the time I needed to get around to it. Wow! How could anybody ask for any better service than that. I wish my worth was far greater than it currently is because I'd like to add this sales lady and her manager to my will! I never knew people in NYC could be so caring and trusting. AWESOME!

I've had this for years, it's been with me through 4 moves and it still works great after it being used. no corruption or data loss and it still says it is healthy. So That's all great news.

Used as a replacement drive. Worked out of the package as intended.

Works as advertised. Plug-N-Play installation (after purchase of a SATA cable). Used this drive to clone my existing hard drive (it is the identical model in my HP) for backup purposes.

The reason I am giving this one star is because this is the loudest hard drive i have ever used. I hope this is not a sign it is going to crash, as this is a big disappointment.

We patched together some aging servers by replacing several hard drives and as long as it keeps working I'll keep replacing hard drives. Economical.

What I was looking for.

Needed to replace a dead drive. Didn't want to chance a different model so I found the exact replacement. Works like a charm. Easy installation, Win7 loaded right up. No problems whatsoever.
