Can older women use this jump rope for Crossfit?

Absolutely. I purchased specifically for CrossFit when I was 62. I eventually switched to a Rogue speed rope but still use this one on occasion. It is a great rope to learn double unders or just do singles. Very sturdy.

Are the handles weighted? I am looking for a jump rope with heavier handles

Handles are not weighted. In general, this is an excellent rope for speed work or for CrossFitters wanting to get better at double unders.

Whats the difference between this and thr professional one?

When you say "the professional one", we are not sure which rope you are referring to? This is the original Buddy Lee Aero Speed Jump Rope.

Where does it ask you the size you need?

I believe the rope comes in one length and for most people requires cutting (with scissors) to fit. After standing on the middle of the rope with both feet, mark where each end of the rope comes up to the armpit and cut there. Then attach the handles with the provided tool.
