Perfect match - fantastic replacement part
Earlier this summer, a friend helped me (i.e., I helped him) change both sprockets and chain. Neither of us had replaced a front sprocket before, but with some help from our friends on YouTube we got it done. Once we exposed and removed the front sprocket, this one went right in - a perfect fit. Now, 500-1000 miles later, it's still performing like an absolute champ on my 2012 Suzuki V-strom 650. 5 stars!!

Despite the part number, yes this fits a 525 chain.
It took me FOREVER to realize that JTF520 is the PART NUMBER and that this is not a sprocket for a 520 chain. Yes, it is actually a 525 sprocket. That confusing aside, what can I say, it fits and it works, so no complaints

great performance part
Got it on time and I can definitely feel the difference between the 16 tooth and this 15. Worth the money. Low end torque feels increased bike pulls a lil harder throughout the gears. It will make your rpm's raise a lil bit but nothing to crazy if you just do the negative 1 in the front. If you do a plus 1 or 2 to the rear sprockets I bet your rpm's will be through the roof at all times.

Good steel sprocket it is a 525 pitch sprocket not a 520.
