This is a heavy duty hose that should last for many years. The 6ft length I bought connects my compressor to a water separator and the hose ends are screwed directly into the fittings without the benefit of quick connects. I found the 1/4" NPT threads to be rather tight but it seals well so it's all good.

Great quality and decent fittings, I needed this to join my compressor to my new hose reel, those hose reels never come with a long enough link hose, Going back to the hose then,couldn’t ask for more, (bright yellow 🤣)

Good product in itself, BUT the 1/4 threads are the US NPT standard and are NOT compatible with BSP 1/4 threads. They are not just 'tight', they don't fit at all. I've had to buy 1/4 NPT to BSP converters. This product as sold is not therefore suited for sale to the UK market.

Dislike/ fault, the thread each end is to big for standard fitting they only went on two threads, had to purchase a die to re thread them.

Using this to connect my 60 gallon two stage quincy to my FRL for my shops air supply. Well made with high quality brass fittings. 1/2 inch ID hose with 1/2 inch male NPT threaded ends. These are designed for connecting a permanent or stationary item into an air system. Either a source like a compressor or a consumer like a stationary air tool or a sand blast cabinet. The ends will swivel for installation purposes but are not meant to be a constant swivel location. This makes tightening the connections easier. Be warned they don't turn easy. But don't worry you are not breaking the hose as long as you only due this to attach the hose to something.

Got this to use as a jumper hose from shop air to a sand blaster cabinet. Nicely made and no problems yet.

I bought this as a complement to the Goodyear retractable reel, expecting the same type hose and BSP fittings. Hose might be fine but it’s definitely not the same type. Also, this one has (as hinted in picture) external NPT threads - not much of a problem but also differing from the retractable reel product. I was kinda expecting these inconsistencies so I’m keeping it. JWL has quality euro-profile couplings for NPT threads - or I could just cut the NPT fittings and use hose couplings.

Good hose not like the cheap ones. Doesn't stretch - my old lead-in hose swelled up like a sausage.

Very handy to carry around with a small oil-less compressor to pressure up car's tires. Goodyear has been a good quality products for a long time and hopefully this one will last longer than the broken old one.
