3.25 Inch Swiss Classic Paring Knife with Straight Edge, Spear Point, Yellow

One of the handiest things in my kitchen! I bought two so I’ll always have a backup, and have considered buying even more. Small and light, with long-lasting blade sharpness (+ easily sharpened), and very maneuverable, this adorable little paring knife is used to cut through almost everything I encounter on a daily basis: veggies, fruits, meats, baked goods, and more. It is by far the knife I use most often, even though I have other high quality Japanese and German knives as alternatives. Both of my paring knives have survived years of daily use and haven’t developed any cracks in the handles or snags in the blades. I do make sure to hand wash only and sharpen every couple of months. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this knife — I highly recommend it!

For such a tiny little lightweight, insignificant looking knife, this thing is surprisingly useful I always used a chef’s knife in the past for a lot of the things that I’m doing with this knife now If it’s easily in the hand, the handle is very, very good grip. It’s sharp and absolutely precise in what it can cut. I don’t know how I got along without a pairing knife like this in the past

Victorinox, for anyone who doesn’t know, is the company that makes the famous Swiss Army knife, so they know a thing or two about knives. This paring knife is a godsend. My old paring knife was too thick to peel properly (what else would you do with a paring knife!?) and it was too dull. I would hone it down on the sharpening steel and it would be ok for a while and then too quickly it would be too dull again. This knife is thin and sharp and peels and cuts fine. It stays sharp longer and seldom needs the sharpening steel. I bought this knife because I already own the Victorinox chef’s knife and I love that too. I noticed America’s Test Kitchen chose the Victorinox chef’s knife so I just pick the same brand whenever I need a knife, and it’s always been a good choice.

This knife is a good size with a comfortable handle, but it should be noted that I had difficulty using it to slice a grape tomato in half. I was surprised that a brand-new knife wouldn't be sharper, but now that I have sharpened the knife, it slices beautifully. My favorite paring knife is by Oxo Good Grips, and I will likely order that brand next time should I have need for another paring knife.

This is a great little knife at a great price. It i very sharp and fits my hand well. I ordered an orange handle--not because I like orange but because I expected it to e bright and easy to spot. It did not disappoint. I put my silverware knife in the dishwasher not my food prep knives.

Great price on these... Really well built. Lite weight , but very durable.. Been using victorinox knives for years , with zero problems.... Very sharp and they stay that way. Great handles.

I love this little knife. I had one with a set I bought of that brand but it went missing so hopped on Amazon to find a new one to replace it. This brand of knife is very sharp nothen like knifes you find in a big box store. My so uses then on fishing boats up in Alaska and brought me on to try and I was hooked and had to get a whole set of them.

It's easy to hold and is a great overall knife for your small knife needs

This little paring knife is top quality, and amazing value for the money. The blade is razor sharp and perfectly made. The molded handle is also above average quality, unlike some others where the molded halves don't quite line up and you get a sharp seam along the length of it. The blade is very thin and made for peeling, etc. The handle is a bit thin but also easy to hold and manoeuvre, so not a problem, just different from larger knives. The knife comes well wrapped in a bubble bag, with a sticker shield over the blade (i.e. once removed, it cannot be reused), so will have to have a proper way to store it after (as with most knives) to protect the blade. I've owned Victorinox products all my life, primarily their famous pocket knives, and I've always found the durability, quality of the product, and the steel used, to be impressive, far above average. I also have a couple other Victorinox kitchen knives, and am absolutely pleased with them in every way. I will definitely continue to buy this brand, and I highly recommend this knife, and their other products.

I've purchased many of these over the years. They are lightweight, dishwasher safe, sharp and do a better job than more expensive knives. I have sharpened them in the past, but to be honest at this price you could just buy new ones.
