I’m not an expert at caning chairs, so any issues I had were more than likely user error. A few strands had flimsy spots, but there was still plenty to finish my chair. I personally struggle with pulling out the correct length, so it would be slightly more convenient if they were separated by size. I realize that’s asking a lot, though and overall was very satisfied with this product!

Worked as described. Will definitely buy again.

Don't waste your money on this kit. Find another one that has fresher product. I wish I would have listened to what other reviewers said about the poor quality. The instruction book was very helpful but the cane was very brittle and broke/shredded quickly. All the water in the world couldn't help to soften the cane and become workable. This project has turned into a nightmare!

I was looking for cane for an old antique rocking chair. I wanted plastic cane and when I ordered this I thought I was getting plastic cane. When I received it I saw that it was the natural cane. I tried to use it but had a lot of problems. It is not nearly as easy to use as the plastic. I should have returned it but tried to use it and now its too late to return it. I guess I should have called and talked to someone.
