Extremely poor quality
There are voids in the casting which means these are not suitable for any type of use with any chain. The holes for the pins were drilled oval and oversized which also makes that part susceptible to failure. Extremely poor quality items, do not waste your time or money ordering these.

Ohhh. These things are cheaply made
I know they were cheap but these things should be only used in an ornamental fashion, like hook um all together and hang them on a wall put up a sign do not touch. But on the positive side they got her fast and like I said they were cheap, in both sense’s oh great service too! ✌️😎 out.

Hard to believe how bad these are. See pics.
I assumed that for such an inexpensive shackle they would not be ship rigging quality, but I hoped they might handle a few hundred pounds and be safe. The pins are sloppy in both the threads and the thru-hole. The shackle shape is bent and the pins are not straight across the body. Some of the grasping part of the pins will cut you if you even touch them. And the two parts of the shackle where the pin goes through are not parallel with each other. Truly amazing. All they are good for is a gag gift for somebody who never doe anything but read books.
