Family Practice Exam Flashcard Study System: FP Test Practice Questions & Review for the Family Practice Board Exam (Cards)

I think I like these cards. I like that they are easy to read and take along with me. I can read during done time and feel like I made good use of my time. Feels like a basic review of medical information, so I will definitely supplement my studying with other materials. The reason for 4 stars- I was annoyed that I had to separate all the cards. Really, they could have come ready to go.

I HAVE BEEN USING THE FAMILY PRACTICE EXAM FLASH CARD STUDY SYSTEM FOR FEW MONTHS NOW. WHAT I LIKE BEST ABOUT IT IS THE FACT THAT I CAN CARRY 10- 15 CARDS WITH ME TO WORK AND REVIEW THEM IN BETWEEN PATIENTS, LUNCH BREAK, AND OTHER OPEN SLOTS THROUGHOUT MY WORKDAY.

The flashcard topics are very basic and super general. One side of card simply mentions a very general topic and the other side has superficial basic information. It would the equivalent of just reading a book with one side being the chapter topic and the other side the content. I am just going to read the information side since they are short and easy and I want to get something for my money. I don't like how it doesn't make you think about any kind of specific questions and in that fashion it won't help me prepare for board questions. The test won't say "What is multiple myeloma?" and then make you list a one paragraph answer encompassing pathology, diagnosis, and treatment. It would be better if they at least made the questions more specific and say "What is the diagnostic criteria and treatment for such and such?", instead of a short heading only. That makes one side useless in my opinion.

The system makes concentrating on problem areas a breeze.

I cant believe I spent more than a dollar buying this! DO NOT BUY! Its useless. This is designed for medical students. The information is basic and longwinded (eg. explain Hypertension). Nothing in here would be helpful for the Boards. Guidelines are outdated and wrong as well. Don't waste your money.

I have just started using the cards. They have a lot of information on the backside but, cover the essentials needed. I plan on adding things to the cards and highlighting things I need to review more.

this was a complete rip off... it was like wikepedia on cards ... nothing to do with the Boards .... can i get my money back?
