Used to be great, recently they send the wrong colour
** see my update** These are unbelievably comfortable. As trendy as jeans and smart as trousers, an all rounder. I’m ordering another pair for work and will attach some tool pockets onto the belt area from a pair of old Dewalt work trousers as they’re so comfy. I purchased mine for gigging, moving about on stage and playing guitar these are perfect forEDIT* Oct 2020- having to change my rating, three times now I’ve purchased new trousers in a specific colour (Black for work, or tan for skateboarding) when I’ve ordered Black, it shows as Black Forest on the invoice even though the order states Black, and I receive some dark green colour trousers. When I ordered Dark Tan I received some cream trousers. Not sure what’s going on with Trueface recently but I’ll just take my refunds and buy elsewhere. In fact I’ve already purchased elsewhere, if you’re after black chino’s, Asda sell a dark black pair for £14 which are a better quality. They also sell them in the same colour varieties as Trueface

Wouldn't buy again
Evidence of cost cutting. Most people (rightly or wrongly) will put either their mobile phone or wallet in a back pocket simply because they have nowhere else to put it. These back pockets are far too shallow even for a small wallet. To exacerbate the problem the button/button hole itself is mounted too low making it pretty useless for anything. There is no cover flap either. It all goes to make easy pickings for a pickpocket or for your wallet/mobile to slip out when you sit down.Even the front zip is shorter than normal, now whether or not this is a style thing I don't know.NB:Generally, the product is comfortable to wear and the two stars for quality of material is aimed at my comments above, not for what the product is made of.

Great fit, great design, light and stretchy fabric, comfortable wear
I'm the kind of guy that struggles to find the perfect fit, especially when shopping online, but these trousers just fit me as if they were made for me. I'm very impressed. I bought two pairs in different colours and while they turned out to be very slightly different styles, they both fit perfectly, even though one of them is a lower cut than the other. Moreover, I was looking for light and stretchy fabric to be worn in a warm environment, while sitting down, and these were perfect, nice and thin and stretchy fabric. And the price was great too.

More skinny than slim, but worth a buy if you're after stylish but comfy pants
Comfiest darn 'trousers' ever.I say that as I cheekily wear these most days instead of proper trousers at work. These are a solid black with a good amount of stretch to them, probably the most comfortable chinos I've ever had the pleasure of wearing. The only negatives (which aren't that negative to be fair);1. They're more of a skinny fit than a slim fit as they do cling to your legs a bit (but with the stretch it isn't uncomfortable in the slightest)2. It does a bit large in the waist (only slightly, so I would suggest if you buy true fit size you may need a belt - although if you were to go down a size it may or may not hug a bit too much) and it runs slightly long in the leg, I'm a 32S being 5'7" and I even these seemed a bit long, whether that's because of the 'skinny cut' of the trousers who knows.

I am the kind of person that finds it difficult to find the exact cut of trousers I want without having to dish out a good lot of money but I was pleasantly surprised at this pair. Both the quality and cut are excellent. They fit exactly as I wanted and the moderately elastic fabric allows for good freedom of movement - something I have always found a big issue with any other type of skinny fit/ slim fit trousers. Also the elasticity seems to keep fine even after multiple washes - unlike some other brands I have tried where after a couple of washes you end up with a baggy potato-sack pair of jeans.I have already ordered another two pairs. An excellent alternative to my skinny jeans.

Not For Me
1) They are not the product that is shown in the picture2) They're much closer to leggings rather than chinos3) They're quite tight (but will loosen in the wash)Aside from these few points, they're ok. Nothing to really be amazed by, the quality is good, the length in the leg is pretty accurate and they are quite comfortable. You will need a belt as these are quite wide at the waist. I won't be wearing these out of the house, except maybe to the local shop. But they are nice to lounge in.

Bargain
After my first purchase I decided to order other colours but a size up. An absolute bargain in my opinion. I just had to get out of jeans. I did order black but got two plum instead but kept them anyway. Now waiting for the ice blue. That's me sorted for a few years! But wait! The Ice Blue. Different material, even better fit. Had to go back and get another pair.

First pair were perfect, second pair way too tight. Both W32/L32
I was looking for a pair of chinos that don’t break the bank, with a little stretch for work/general wear but also maybe to climb in or if I needed to cycle somewhere. These have been just perfect, enough stretch to climb in and a nice looseness without being baggy, whilst smart enough to wear day to day. So I ordered a second pair which, when they arrived, are really tight and much smaller than my first pair. I’m gutted because I thought I’d found my perfect fitting trousers but it seems the sizing at the factory is a bit random!
