This is my first electric tire inflation pump so i have no other experience to compare with, but i have no complaints at all. This machine is doing its job so far (6 months) when i need it and pretty quickly. Now i can easily fix my scooter tire pressure without going to the gas station, and not worried about calling extraction if i have a flat tire. For example, i were about to take my kids to the beach 2 weeks ago. All the equipment was ready and inside the car and the kids with belts on, then when I started to move i felt something wrong. I went outside and saw totally flat tire. This pump took care of it in less then 10 minutes and took it back to 30 bars. Enough to get to the tire store and get to the beach almost on time. It is also came with a nice carring bag and nozzles and has warrenty, and i also bought ac to dc converter so i can use it at home to blow other things like ballons or pool inflatables. And its working great with those too but i never succeeded the time limit that written in the manual. Bottom line everything great and works great. The parts are good and cables in good length. Its making noise ofcourse but its not too loud. It has flashlight that can be useful and you can set your wanted pressure in your wanted units or just inflate without limit. Two things i was worried about. One is overheat because the manual says to take a break of 15 minutes after 8 minutes of work time but so far it did its job without problems. Second thing is that i don't know for sure if the pressure measurement is precised but it seems close enough. Overall for its descent price i recommend for everyone that needs tire pump like these.

It has come in quite handy to inflate car tires, bike tires, and sports balls. My vehicle is a larger SUV and I have had no problem reaching all four tires due to the generous cord length. I've used this for tire pressures from 44 psi to 95 psi. It's a breeze to use. Set the desired pressure. Press start and it automatically shuts off when the pressure is reached. This is a great unit to keep in your car! It's especially nice when you can pull it out to help someone in need. Note: It works great on tires and balls but does not work well for inflatables such as rafts or floats. They stand behind the product! I recommend this product.

Got this as a Christmas present for someone, and they lived it! HOWEVER, after plugging it in to their car and turning it on, they noticed that the gauge reads about 1.5 above the actual tire pressure, tested with a dial pressure gauge. This seems to be a recurring problem for a lot of people based on their reviews. 'But stranger, why would give it four stars if it has bad readings?' Thank you previous sentence, this thing is replacing a bicycle pump used to fill up car tires. This compressor works quickly and without issues when filling tires up, and it doesn't require the user to be at a normal electric outlet. If your car has a working battery you're good, so you can use it when you're stuck in the middle of nowhere without tire pressure. It makes something less inconvenient, I recommend it.

I always carry a tire inflator in each of my vehicles. My old one failed and was not repairable, so I searched and bought another one online that had two cylinders and looked robust. However, it failed the first time I used it and I sent it back. Then, last month (July 2019) I ordered the Helteco. Since receiving it, I have used it about six times. The first time, I had a slow leaking puncture in one of my truck's tires. It was down to 18 lbs and I needed to get it back up to 36 PSI so I could drive it to the garage. Thinking that I was probably going to end up being disappointed, I started the truck and plugged the Helteco into the 12 vdc outlet. I clamped (I like this, instead of having to screw on the connection) the Helteco's air chuck on the valve stem, set it for 37 lbs and pressed the start button. It worked wonderfully! The digital readout showed the pressure increasing in 1/2 lb increments and it went up to 37 1/2 lbs and shut off - just like it was supposed to do. It doesn't pump fast, but it pumps steady. The whole thing took three, maybe four, minutes. I have used it at least five more times since then. The last time was yesterday, when I had to increase the pressure in the tires on my trailer, which was already hooked up to the truck. In that scenario, the power cord of the Helteko (or any tire inflator) wouldn't be long enough to reach the truck's 12 vdc outlet. So I plugged it into the 12 vdc outlet on the portable jump starter that I also carry around in the truck. Again, it worked perfectly. In closing, let me say that I am highly satisfied with this product and I would highly recommend it to my friends.

I was tired of the pressure in my tires going low due to cold weather, having to drop by the gas station, and struggling with air pump and that cumbersome air hose. Some of you folks may know what I’m talking about. I finally got a chance to use this to set the pressure to 35 psi for all 4 tires. The power cord is plenty long to get to all 4 tires on a full size sedan (don’t forget to check your spare tire). The air nozzle fit on the tire valve securely and did not leak air. Setting the pressure and operating the inflator was pretty simple. Accuracy is good. Based on TPMS reads, all tires now read 36 psi (I preset the inflator to 35 psi). This could be attributed to TPMS accuracy, inflator accuracy, and over-inflation from the inflator to compensate for the air loss when detaching the nozzle. Whatever the case may be, it works. I tested the light and it worked as designed. Now, the noise... it’s pretty loud. My car engine is quieter than this thing. I used this in my driveway, and I could sense my neighbors peeking through their blinds to see what the noise was. When I gave this thing a dry run, I plugged it in the cigarette lighter, set the psi, and hit the ON button, the noise gave me a good scare. I may be exaggerating, but I expected this thing to be quieter. To be fair, instructions do say the noise level is equal to less than 50 dB... now I know what 50 dB sounds like! Overall, despite the noise, this thing works as designed, so far. Build quality seems good. It has a plastic casing, be careful not to drop it.

The weather here on the East Coast is starting to get cooler and if I didn't know it, my tire made sure to let me know. My car alerted me that my passenger back tire pressure was lower than normal so I knew I need to invest in air pump that is portable rather than going to a gas station. Just saves time and money in the long run. The item arrived the next day after ordering and I put it to use right away. It is so easy to use (instructions are included which is very easy to follow) and put air in my tire pretty fast. It does add an extra .5 but automatically shuts right off after. I love that it has a light and a nice pouch for storage in your car as the machine is not big. Overall, it got the job done and pricing is great. Color is cute too!

I decided to wait to review until had an opportunity to use it...meaning a low or flat tire. I un-boxed it and was impressed with the packaging and overall appearance. Its an air pump how hard can it be to operate right, but I read the enclosed instructions just because...I set things up per the simple instructions and attempted to use it. The LED was lit up it hummed briefly, and the LED went out and it went silent. Back to the Instructions, checked the fuse, changed same...3 times! I thought maybe bad fuses. Got rolling bought more and tried it at home...blew another. Contacted the folks at the email address on the instruction pamphlet 3 days ago and have yet to receive a response. I have a standard 12v system. nothing fancy. 2000 GMC pickup. Can't recommend even a little bit. Edit: The above comment is for the first unit I received. I received an email from the company about a week or two after posting the review. They were very apologetic and asked for my physical address so they could send another unit. The email stated that the person who was in customer support had dropped the ball more then once and had been let go. I replied to the email, about a week later i had a new unit delivered to my physical address! I used this one right away this time and it worked like a BOSS! As stated above the initial unit was defective but the customer service and the 2nd unit are what I expect. Thank you to Steve for your attention to this matter in fixing the issue! You have a loyal customer who will most definitely recommend your product!!

I was so tired of trying to find a gas station that had a working air hose and didn't cost a roll of quarters. I found this Helteko pump and decided that the price was right and would save me trouble. I had no idea it would save me THIS much trouble. From the start, it was easy to use, inflated tires quickly, and was accurate. I had no problems attaching or detaching the hose. It is a nice feature that it inflates tires an extra .5 pounds to account for loss when removing a connection. This is a light, well-built air pump. It is good for cars AND bicycles (which was also very useful for me) and I recommend it highly.

An absolute waste of time. Very little power. Faster and easier to manually inflate items. Even a simple floatie was difficult to inflate with this. I cannot imagine it would work on a car tire. We are returning this item
