Ladder Bookshelf

We added the IRONCK 5-Tier Ladder Shelf to our gaming area, and it’s been a fantastic addition! The design fits perfectly with our setup, adding both style and extra storage without taking up too much space. We’ve used it to store gaming gear, books, a subwoofer, and a few decorative items. So far it’s held everything securely. The shelf feels sturdy and looks great next to our desk. It’s easy to assemble and gives the room a modern, organized feel. It’s now an essential part of our gaming space, helping us keep everything tidy and easily accessible. If you’re looking for a functional and stylish bookshelf, this one is definitely worth it!

I love this so much I bought 2 more. Great quality for the price, easy to set up, and very stable. It’s not super heavy, and instructions were easy to understand. A+

I’m pretty happy with my purchase. It wasn’t too difficult to assemble, but some of the screws took a lot of muscle in order to “catch” and begin tightening. Also, the instructions aren’t super clear on how to specifically position the two black rails so that the little holes for the “x” cross at the back of the shelves line up. I had to take it apart and start over because I realized that I laid one of the rails facing the wrong way and one hole for the “x” was on the front of the piece and the other was on the back. Other than that little mishap, putting this together was a breeze and the end result is very sturdy and good looking. It doesn’t feel or look cheap and dainty. So, I’m happy with it.

This is a sturdy book case. I will warn fellow shoppers of two problems. 1) The ends of each shelf have an opening between the frame of 11.5 x 13 inches. Unless you have some really large books you are going to need to get some metal bookends like these B07PFHXTWC to hold your books in place. 2) The one page (single sided) illustration that serves as a guide to how to put the various pieces together should have some words explaining things. For the most part it's pretty easy to follow, but it is difficult to tell which way thet want the top and bottom sub-assemblies connected so that the cross bracing will fit. The sub-assemblies will fit together in either orientation, but when you come to connecting the cross bracing you may find, as I did, they were inserted the wrong way. Not a major task to undo and redo correctly but a time waster and frustrating. The combination allen wrench/phillips screwdriver tool included makes for slow tightening of the fasteners. Very quickly I brought out my own hex driver and screw driver to speed up assembly. I would also say having two people during the initial assembly (until you get at least the frame and top shelf connected) or you will need some fixtures to hold the frame in place as you connect the first shelf. Once assembled, I found it easy to level and very sturdy.

After leaving my old home, I needed to find a New Storage Space/Unit for all my stuff.

As a crafter looking for shelf organization that can easily be used elsewhere in the home, this was definitely a good choice. It's easily assembled I just recommend you be sure to pay attention to where the holes are for the X back support. I didn't and had to disassemble and reassemble it. It is sturdy and has foot leveling option. For me not having sides on the shelves was not an option due to my yarn rolling off. To fix this we just used some metal wire shelving we had and zip tied it on either side. (This is not a problem with the shelf just my poor planning) that being said I also ordered another for books printer and office supplies for which it was perfect as is. I plan to order a couple more for the office as it is only about 2' wide so the shelves don't hold a lot. My only downfall is the price 100+ is too much for this product based off size and material for the shelves themselves. This is why I have to wait to order more. Between the 60-100 range would be a more reasonable price range.

Some previous buyers said the shelf was a bit difficult to assemble. I found that being organized, taking your time and paying attention resulted in a product that was fairly easy to assemble. It looks nice in my home and is sturdy enough to hold probably 70-90 pounds of jewelry beads and their cases. My only bit of advice is: when assembling the upright (side) pieces, pay attention to the holes for the cross pieces that go on the back of the unit. It will save you some time and effort. By the way, I am a 57 year old woman with a less than stellar back. It took me maybe 45 minutes to assemble it by myself.

I have no issues with this book shelf. I bought two of them several years ago and it's still holding up to the abuse.
