I bought this ottoman/storage cube to store my pup's toys in -- and thinking it would double as a footrest was a good idea. I have found it is ideal for toy storage; at night, all of his toys go into the box and keeps the clutter out of the living room during other times, but easily available at play time. As a storage box it is strong and very well made; I think it's a good value for the price -- the exterior faux leather is soft and very good quality -- and it looks really nice! With its smart looks and dark color it is unobtrusive, so it blends well in the living room. When this very thin box arrived, I was curious to see how it all fit inside -- basically the shipping box contains the lid and the entire cube fits nicely in the lid -- yeah! amazing. It takes seconds to put it in shape and, again, I was very surprised how sturdy it is; I can not imagine it would ever collapse. The enclosed paperwork does say it is rated at 300 kg, and it might handle that -- but I don't think I would test it (or too many things) to that level -- it is probably based on setting an item squarely on it under testing conditions -- I don't think a 600 pound person could sit on it without breaking. It has a lining inside which adds to its nice looks and quality feel. As an ottoman, it is a bit too high for my sofa -- about an inch shorter would have been perfect; but it is nice for the recliner. But height aside, it is very comfortable as a foot rest and very well padded. Even though I thought I would give it 4 stars due to the height, I decided that the pro's outweigh that one element -- and every sofa is a different height so it may not be too high for others.

Very sturdy. Came packaged well. The whole thing folds into the top cushion part. The top cushion is fortified very well I think made of wood and really comfortable while being strong. The sides of it are pretty flimsy, but it relies on the same physics of four rolls of printer paper supporting a tower of textbooks, so don't worry it's way sturdier than it looks. I even jumped on it and it was fine lol. The bottom is only plastic fabric and they give you a cardboard piece to fortify it at the bottom. Probably dont set it on anything sharp or uneven ground. Good storage and surprisingly comfy to sit in.

Great small ottoman!! I have been looking for a 15 inch tall small ottoman to match the height of my other ottomans and this one fits! The material is soft yet durable which is nice! It's super easy to assemble and didn't take long. I love to use it as storage, an extra seat in my room, and sometimes as a stool to quickly get things from shelves.

I love that this ottoman can be folded flat to fit inside the lid. I also like that it’s lightweight and easy to move for vacuuming underneath. The ottoman is sturdy enough for extra seating as well as putting up my feet while sitting on my sofa. Good value for the price. There’s enough storage space for a small furniture throw or a small sofa pillow. The foldable design probably doesn’t lend itself to storage of heavier or bulky items. The 15-inch height is perfect for my sofa and upholstered chair. Ideally, I’d prefer a slightly longer and wider cube, and some furniture sliders on the bottom side of ottoman. That would make it a 5-star vs. a 4-sar rating.

This storage ottoman is built very well. Its assembly consists of opening the cube and putting the support piece on the bottom and attach the top lid. Can be used for several things but I like that I can keep some crochet books I'm using right at my finger tips. I have used as an ottoman and its pretty sturdy. The look is very attractive .

Super soft and well sized, definietly perfect for my dorm. The color is also almost perfectly accurate to the photos. Only downside was my dog immediately decided it was something she should bite and pulled the stitching out of one side and (from what I could hear) punched some holes in the partical board. If you have dogs and decide to get this, don't make my mistake and put it together in a different room instead.

I love this little storage ottoman. It was an excellent value for the price. It's small enough not to take up much space, but large enough to store multiple things. The velvet fabric is a beautiful color and cleans easily with a damp sponge. There is a nice cushion on top and as it can hold 300 lbs., it's a great place to sit or put your feet up.

The product mentions a size of 15"x15"x15", which is not true. The actual size is 12"x12"x12". Not sure whether it's a case of mistaken product or wrong description.

It’s just way too small and the price is too much for the size.
