My apartment is very drafty, and I learned that the hard way in the beginning of winter when I opened the utility bills. One roll of this wrap covered about 8 windows. My apartment is heated by gas in the bottom floor and electricity in the upper floor. Just this simple act of heating the wrap over the windows shaved over $100 off each bill the next month. I only have one negative thing to say: The adhesive is absolutely no good. I had to get a few Duck Brand rolls. The tape this comes with barely sticks at all.

I bought these to help us keep some heat in the house in chilly New England this winter. Upon receipt we started installing them on the windows. VERY easy to install. It definitely takes two people, especially if you're short like me. We installed them no problem and could feel a difference almost instantly. My only gripe is the tape doesn't stay!! We have painted window sills so we figured it could be that but we tried to redo them and it's the same thing. We were sort of disappointed because we had to take the shrink wrap down and now we have nothing on some windows. I would recommend the actual shrink wrap, but maybe find another type of tape to seal the windows with.

Very clear, easy to apply, just make sure you clean the window first, let the double sided tape sit first and have a good hair dryer. Its as clear as my windows once I used the hair dryer. Great product

Just like the headline and the rest of the reviews say - plastic is great, tape is not worth it. My roommate and I set our windows, and she used the tape that came with this order while I used tape left over from a Frost King pack I bought from Home Depot last year. She got so frustrated because her plastic wouldn’t stick, and my windows came out perfectly.If you get this set, invest in better tape. Maybe 3M or Frost King (but get that at HD and not Amazon, because the reviews for FK on Amazon are not stellar).

This plastic works great for my windows. I like that it is large enough to cover a huge picture window in my living room. I use it for all my windows in the house and it has cut our heating bill drastically. I need new windows and cannot afford to get them all done right now. This is the perfect solution until I can. It was a little difficult to separate the sheet to unfold it but not impossible. The plastic is thick and was easy to install. I did not use the tape that came with the product, I had leftover tape from a 3M kit. The plastic shrunk and evened out when I used the blow dryer on it. My dogs don't like it because they keep hitting their heads on it when they look out the window but they have not tore it nor has it sagged from them continuously hitting it.. I have a vertical blind that I open and close for my large picture window and it has not caught, tore. nor damaged the plastic in any way. Plenty of sunlight comes through the window. I would purchase this again and recommend to others.

The convenience of the big roll is great compared to box sets where the film is folded. However, after doing some windows with this product and done with a generic boxed kit, I would go back to the kits because the plastic in this roll is too thick. It's not clear, it doesn't stick well to the tape, and you can't get the wrinkles out because it pulls off the tape when you blow dry it. In short, it does not look good on home windows, and it's not going to insulate well when it doesn't stick to the tape. This could be a great product, but it's not there yet.

This is WAAAY cheaper than buying those kits at the store. I did several large windows and still have a lot of material left. I will say that because it's folded, it's pretty difficult to get it to separate/open up. It's folded at exactly down the middle, so the open edges line up perfectly, and it's hard to get them to separate. A simple fix would have been to place the fold slightly off center, leaving with visible edges to separate. Otherwise, the product is great...it shrinks nicely and the tape sticks pretty well.

Zero. Half of the roll was missing and most of the tape. I asked about refund.
