Is the 4 pack the same as the 2 pack, description is different?

Hi, The 4 pack attachment cords are identical to the 2 Pack Hook and Carabiner other than they are 24" unstretched rather than 48" unstretched, all black rather than the 2 pack black with red fleck, and are packaged in a poly bag. Although the 48" 2 pack cords are adjustable in length, we found that many customers didn't want the excess length of free cord for their applications. The 4 pack cords are the same as we supply with our Spider Waterproof Truck Tarps. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you need any additional information

Is this good to hold an outdoor AC cover in place?

Thanks for the question. The product you have chosen has a carabiner at one end and an adjustable hook at the other. The carabiner is particularly useful for attaching to tarp D-Rings or eyelets or where the cord is passed through the carabiner to form a loop. In your application, the carabiner can be attached to the hook "easy grip" finger hole creating a closed loop that can then be then tightened around the AC cover. Remember though that the stretched length of one cord is around 70". If you need more length I suggest joining 2 cords together by interlocking the carabiners to give a potential stretched length of around 140". You probably wont need this length so just lock the hooks along the bungee cords to give you the approximate length required, interlock the hooks to form a loop, and tension up if required by pulling on the free end of one of the cords. Will they work for kayak tie downs?

Hi, Thanks for your enquiry. Being a bungee cord we don't load rate them. If you intend to fasten the kayak to a vehicle, I'd suggest using alternative methods of securing as your primary restraint.
