Perfect fit for a 2003 duramax 2500

Fit just like the factory pump cover, but did NOT come with the studs for the oil cooler. I broke a stud off trying to get it off my old housing, which required a run to the store. Just make sure you get the studs and install before starting the project and this part is easy to use. I would give 5 stars if they had included the studs or had them already installed.

OEM fits perfect. Old housing was eroded at volute after 260,000 miles. You'll need to remove the flange studs from the old unit as the new doesn't come with any. Double nut and remove. Lock-tite before reusing. Does however come with o-rings and flange gasket. Amazon had the best price.

It's just a water pump housing it does what it's supposed to. Fit was perfect on my 2005 Duramax.Note: you will have to pull two studs out of the old housing and install on this one. They take an external torx to pull off. I believe the size was E8.

I got this to replace the housing on my '01 Duramax. Fit perfect. This is the exact same thing you will get if you go to a Chevrolet dealership and buy it at 1/2 the cost.
