Was recommended by my Pediatrician for my baby who doesn't normally fuss but when she can't burp or pass gas she is miserable. 5 drops and she actually seems to like the flavor. Calms almost immediately. Great gift for new moms, great to have on hand, especially when nothing else will calm your baby.

i started using these probiotics for my son when he was 4 weeks old. he had pretty bad reflux and i didn't want to start him on medication. i tried the Gerber probiotics that my ped gave me a sample of and they did nothing. these took care of his reflux in 2 weeks! 😁

Loved using these for my daughter who is now on toddler probiotics. Looking forward to using them for my newborn. Easy to use and contains the most important probiotics for babies.

I used this product for now 3 of my 7 babies, and it is FANTASTIC!! No constipation, less gas, less spitting up, much happier babies.The first baby I used it on was 3 months before I found it. I heard everything from it was what I was eating to a tongue tie (that isn't there), to my baby having some allergy.Turns out his problem was the same as mine: we just don't have enough of the right probiotics. This has all the stands that we seem to be missing because NO OTHER probiotic alone fixes up their tummies like this one does. (I started making sure that my own probiotics now have many of these strains, too, and man! What a DIFFERENCE!!!)So, for the last baby and this current one (who is just now 4 days old) I start them on these probiotics the day after birth and before my milk comes in, and now, when the milk comes in (and I overproduce), their tummies are a lot less upset. (They do still get gas those first few days, but it's NOTHING like what they had without it, doesn't seem to cause them as much pain, and is usually resolved in a week or two. Without this, their gas is painful and isn't resolved for MONTHS.)The only thing I don't like is the dispenser. I breastfeed exclusively and trying to put this on a spoon or on my finger or nipple and get it into his mouth is really frustrating. I've tried putting it on the pacifier, but I don't use a pacifier all that much and most of the probiotics end up on his lips and not in his mouth. I would have preferred either an eye dropper type of dispenser, or else a glass dropper like what you find in a tincture bottle.

I've tried quite a few probiotics for my infant and this is definitely best one I've used. Great price and actually notice a difference

I have been struggling with some dreadful, intermittent, GI mystery illness for nearly 5 years. I've read that L. johnsonii is supposed to help with one possible diagnosis (giardia/giardiasis). btw, I'm old --50s-- but this was absolutely the only source I could find for L. johnsonii.One other reviewer at this point mentions that the bottle is dreadful. They were right: the dosage directions are nearly impossible to follow the way they package the product (hence my 3-stars; will be adjusted in a few months after I see if the stuff actually does anything for my problem). This type of cap is used for products like essential oils for aromatherapy, which you shake/sprinkle onto objects or warmers. I can't even imagine what it'd be like to try to get 5 drops of this stuff into a toddler's mouth with this dispenser...or non-dispenser, to be more accurate. I have some clean, empty eye-dropper bottles so can measure out the approx # of drops (there are no dosing instructions for adults) but of course the eyedropper top doesn't fit this bottle, so it'll be oozing all over the place between uses.If they're going to direct dosage by drops, they really should make it possible to dispense drops from the packaging provided.*update 11/6/20 re: effectiveness: I couldn't see that it helped my GI symptoms in the teensiest bit, so was frankly glad to not have to battle with the totally inappropriate packaging.

I received this probiotic today. I have used this brand before. This bottle was filled with a white cloudy liquid with an expiration date only 5-1/2 months away! It was manufactured in 2019! I threw it away.
