How do I get the pump to work? I have both shampoo and conditioner, have spun them clockwise and counterclockwise but neither will pop up!

Hold the cap firmly with your left hand and turn the pump counter-clockwise with your right hand. If the pump does not rise, then pull up on it while turning it counter-clockwise.

Is there a trick to getting the pump for this product to work? Nothing I've tried makes the pump actually pump the product.
