Well writen but evil*! like all light novels!
Well writen but evil*! like all light novels!Writing ligth novels is apparantly an excuse to overcharge massivly this pisses me of! you pay 8$ for 200 pages... that's to be expected... but if you look at the page count in the next novels they decrease with every freaking book! this pisses me of!!! i am already annoyed with light novels but when the author cant be bothered to actually write 200 pages i just feel cheeted... more then i usually do! 10 less on the fist book is 5% less and it only goes down from there! this is an outrage!!!!! i refuse to read any more damn it! greedy evil light novel authors!!!western authors typically write 400-500 pages and usually ask for 5-6$The absolute least you can demand is that the full 200 pages are there!Again the story is perfectly fine... but the sub 200 page count on the rest of the books feels like i am being cheated!absolutely unacceptable!

When your heart wont tell your mind to tell your mouth what it should say
This is a really cute story about a young isolated sorcerer who purchases a beautiful yet completely dispirited elf girl who he has fallen in love with at first sight. The elf believes her life is over and is simply waiting for her painful death to occur as a sacrifice to a sorcerer's desire for greater power. She is gravely confused when the sorcerer makes long term accommodations for her stay at his castle. The two young people are too inexperienced to say what is an obviously blooming romance as the elf gets use to her new life. Their interactions are that of couples here and there but the sorcerer maintains a high and mighty front while the elf remains subservient to her 'master'. The sorcerer is suppose to be the bad guy by his very title to the world but unbeknownst to him, is a kinder person who the elf realizes very quickly. There is a lot of fluff as he tries to give her a normal life. There is a intrigue plot with the sorcerer's fellow magic users and the enemy church's knights that keeps the story from getting stagnant. Overall, this is a really charming romance between two young people with difficult pasts who are going to take a little while to solidify their relationship. Its a suitable story for even young teens as there is nothing that goes to the extreme. The artwork is very detailed and of good quality. Recommended to any reader who enjoys silly romcoms of young clumsy love.

Pretty Good
From the synopsis it seems there would be plenty of "misunderstanding." Its annoying in romcom since situation escalates and can be resolve just by talking it out. Here though, it seems not to be the case. At least not into a outrageous situation, like if he was misunderstood and a brawl breaks out. It seems almost charming trait of the MC.The romance between the sorcerer and elf was innocent and sweet like any romcom. Both developed and written in a way they needed each other.I don't know what else to say. Definitely a good read as a romcom story with fantasy elements.

Too precious for this world. The adorable cinnabun descends
Over the years I've come to REALLY like this new troupe: "Evil/Dark Hero/Demon Lord" comes across/takes in adorable cinnabun character and loves/protects her.Our MC isn't made to be very likable, but the author does a nice job characterizing his motives, personality and doesn't break it. The whole "Love at first sight" is a little on the nose, but when our darling Nephy (the white hair, azure eyed, cinnabun elf) enters, who wouldn't fall in love? When I first heard of this series, I was intrigued haven been a big fan of the Ancient Magus' Bride. Since this LN had a similar setup, I became curious. What I got wasn't Magus' bride, rich with lore and intrigue, but a sweet, charming story about two awkward people learning about each other while surrounded by dangerous foes and entities.I highly recommend the series as a fun and cute play on the troupe of "powerful MC takes in adorable cinnabun and protects her/loves her" while avoiding some of the standard pitfalls with a decent magic system and intriguing setup we can expect to explore more of in later volumes.

I'm not a fan of romcons but liked it
I'm not a fan of romantic comedy, I sometimes try to avoid it; but I liked reading this novel. The main character is relatable... As an IT expert/geek/otaku, contact with girls is limited and talking to them is daunting when it happens, so I feel the character is very relatable. The story is light and simple but has the nuances of betrayal and general evilness of sorcerers to spice it up, as well as the awkwardness of a young man and girl starting to live together.I liked it and look forward to reading the next volume

A good fantasy Rom-Com in the making
I picked this book up cause I generally like books with weird titles. After reading the summary I was a bit worried the book would devolve into a harem, like every other series however so far that has not happened. I love how cute the main couple is. Worth a read if your tired of harem series. Though what will happen in volume 2, I'm not sure.

Nephy is precious
This poor sod can’t express his true feelings to the only person he’s ever loved, but it’s understandable since his existence as a sorcerer is far from anything resembling love. The inter monologue of Zagan makes this series worth sticking around. Great read.

A good ride until before it ends.
So upon getting this book, my expectation was simple, a sweet romance story about a Archdemon and an elf. In that regards it really did meet those expectations. I can say it was good read all in all.It has a few battle parts but the main focus is on how the MC's and Elf girl's relationship with each other. (That is the title so don't expect flashy magic battles). If weren't for that certain part in the end of this novel I would have give it a 5 star rating.

Vom Stil ist das Buch der Serie "The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind!" recht ähnlich.

Awkward Love
Zagan is feared as evil sorcerer, known for his foulmouth and beating down any trespassers in his domain. He is socially awkward, rarely interacting with anyone and lives a life of seclusion. Invited by a friend, he attends an auction for rare "ingredients" and there he finds there is an elven slave girl of peerless beauty, Nephy.Having fallen in love at first sight, Zagan uses up his entire fortune to purchase her. Taking his home, he realises one important factor: he has no idea how to talk to the girl he loves and thus begins the awkward relationship of a sorcerer who can't convey his feelings and an elf who has no idea how to best appeal to him.Their relationship is rather awkward yet cute. I like that Zagan is seen as such a dark and evil character yet is so socially clumsy. The two grow together and through their relationship as for the first time in her life, Nephy is wanted and not just seen as some cursed being, while Zagan wants the girl he loves to love him for who he is, and looks for way to free her of her collar. I really enjoy Zagan's internal monologue as despite being a "rough" character on the outside, he really fumbles with his thoughts a lot as he struggles to find out how to best communicate his feelings across. You do feel a bit of pity for his self suffering throughout, but thankfully over time he begins to improve and their relationship deepens.
