My skin has been terrible for quite some time, and I have a habit of picking at spots (I know I shouldn’t, but I can’t help it 😅). After finally reaching my breaking point, I contacted a skin specialist and spent over £500 on products, along with £50 per consultation. While the products did help slightly, the costs were just too much. I then discovered this product and thought it was worth a try for less than £10. I had never heard of niacinamide or this brand before, and I’m not really someone who follows a skincare routine. I only take action when my skin gets bad or when I remember to. Now that I’m over 30, I’ve realized there is a lot of damage to address 😬. When the product arrived, the packaging was secure and well-wrapped. The bottle had a seal around the rim to prevent any leaks. The texture is a runny liquid, but it soaks in really well. There isn’t much of a scent either, which makes it less overwhelming. Surprisingly, my skin improved more quickly with this product than with the expensive ones recommended by the specialists. My skin feels firmer, my pigmentation has improved, and the spots are starting to clear up. While my pores have improved too, there is still quite a bit of damage. I’m very impressed with this product. I use it nightly, although not every night since I’m not great at remembering to use it. Despite that, I’ve still seen improvements, although they may be slower than if I used it twice daily as recommended. I’ve since purchased more products from this brand and have been equally impressed with them. I’ve recommended this brand, particularly this product, to anyone who comments on my skin. Didn't expect any miracles but given the price - this product lives up to the hype. I've a pretty expressive face so fine lines appeared quicker than I anticipated - 3 months in and they were basically gone, or at least not deep enough for makeup to settle in them. My skin tone is a lot more even and pores less visible. What I didn't expect is how well it fights acne. After being on and off antibiotics for cystic acne, the side effects made me stop once it got to a "manageable" level. A year in and the retinol completely got rid the acne, I'll get something once every 3 months but it draws out the cyst and a pimple patch reduces any swelling overnight. I use it every other day in the evenings, switching it up with Paula's Choice BHA toner. The serum is easy to apply. It's quite thin but that means a little goes a long way. The pump works fine and doesn't leak. Make sure to use sunscreen in the morning and from personal experience I would avoid facial waxing - the skin is thin and more sensitive, wax grabs onto not only hair but the skin itself so you can end up with raw and painful areas because the wax stripped off more skin than it should. Tweezing or threading is safer.

When I first used this product in October I jumped straight into it and started applying it every night. On the third night I didn't moisturise straight afterwards and a burn appeared on my nose, so then I let it heal for around 6 weeks before I started using the product again. Then I used it two nights a week and slowly built back up to using it every night. I'd also recommend cleansing, toning, retinol and ALWAYS night time moisturiser. I've been using this product around 3 months now and I have noticed an improvement in my skin, and hope it improves as I keep using it. They say it takes 6 months to really see a difference so it's worth having a try for such a small price **Update 3 days after writing this review (Feb)** My nose is burnt again but on the other side this time... Done a lot more research in to it and I think I know why it's happened again. So I have been washing my face with an acne cleanser followed by an acne toner, then the retinol and then moisturiser. This product should not be used in conjunction with AHAs (glycolic acid was in my cleanser) and BHAs (salicylic acid was in my toner). Once my nose has healed again I'm going to use the AHAs and BHAs on a morning but on the night time I'm going to cleanse using CeraVe hydrating cleanser, I won't use a toner, then retinol (pea sized amount), then night time moisturiser. I'll put another update on around April/May time. Hopefully my experience will prevent others from making the same mistakes! 🤞

Firstly it's well packaged. The box is sealed and there is further security seal around the pipette. The bottle is easy to hold, even with moisturiser on my hands it doesn't slip like other serum bottles do. The pipette is lovely and soft so it's super easy to use, even with my arthritis. It also is easy to control how much product comes out, some serums just shoot out far too much. The consistency is perfect. I can put it on my face and it doesn't run, it stays put until you have chance to rub it in. Having said that once you start to rub it in, it sinks in very fast. There's no greasy film, and you can feel the hyaluronic acid doing it's work, I feels like my face has had a drink. It has a lovely cooling affect on my face as well. My face looks and feels hydrated. For the amount of product needed, I feel it will last a long time and the bottle size is reasonable for the price. I'm definitely now going to buy the rest of the range. Just to add I have quite sensitive skin and have had zero tingling or reaction. There is also no scent, so no added ingredients just goodness for your skin.

Hello future buyers! I never had real problems with my skin, it was always good and without any spots or redness. Until this year. Not only broke all hell lose in the world but also on my face. Why? I have a thyroid disease that now caused hormonal acne (see my review on Eclat Acne Cream). Along with wearing a mask 4+ hrs a day and change in hormone levels made my skin confused, irritated I would say. The redness was bothering so much now along with 2 huge spots. So I wanted a treatment combination but with value for my money. I found it. By Eclat. I discovered the Vitamin C serum because it was suggested by Amazon to buy along with the acne cream. I had a look, read about the ingredients. Since I have sensitive and dry skin, I needed to make sure nothing would cause irritation. I was sold right away. No harmful ingredients, no harshness. Ok, let's try it! I bought the 2, they arrived only one day later. My routine that I developed was working perfectly fot me and my skin type. The Vitamin C serum was easy to apply and dried quickly. Leaving a nice scent behind. A few days after using, the redness, once so pronounced, faded a nuance. My skin looks healthier and is softer. The scent is amazing, if they would come out with a fragance of this Vitamin C serum... I will buy it. Just treat yourself more often and be happy that you are you. I am happier since I have found the serum and the acne cream and I can see that it works. Ho 45 anni e la pelle mista, ho provato altri sieri al retinolo ma li ho sempre trovati molto pesanti e troppo oleosi mentre il siero di Eclat al Retinolo è perfetto sulla mia pelle, asciuga in fretta non unge ne appiccica la pelle, lo uso la sera sotto la crema e al mattino la pelle è distesa e compatta, ho la sensazione di avere anche i pori meno dilatati. Il retinolo va usato solo la sera perchè è fotosensibilizzante. E’ un gel trasparente va tamponato sul viso e collo detersi e viene assorbito rapidamente dalla pelle, la profumazione è molto delicata leggermente. I started using a red light mask and it was recommended to use this Hyaluronic Acid after. This stuff is amazing! The fine lines around my lips have all but disappeared and under my eyes looks amazing. Please note I use this in conjunction with the Retinol product by the same company. Acid, wait 3 minutes, retinol wait 3 minutes, and one last time with the acid. I guarantee you will see results in under a month. This has become my favorite product.

Soy chica hablo de otra cuenta. Me ha llegado a tiempo. Es primera vez que uso retinol, quería saber si es tan cierto los cambios favorables que deja en la piel. Es el tercer día de su uso me gusta la sensación que deja. Lo he probado también con mi madre que es más mayor., trabaje con masajes otra crema con retinol y me ha gustado mucho el resultado de ambos complementados. Note un leve aclarado en manchitas y las arrugas también se notaba un poquito. Debo decir que también se nota si lo dejas de usar. Tienes usarlo constantemente por las noches y al día siguiente protección solar. Se ve mejora leve con un buen masaje mi piel es joven pero aún así note sensación de tirantes como si te estira la piel. Me gusta de mimento a ver si sigue mejorando que hace rato buscaba resultados favorables. Gracias!

عجبني السيروم لاحظت نضارة خفبفة لأول استعمال بعد نصف ساعة ان شاء الله مع الاستمرار ترجع النضارة لبشرتي هذا هو ما أعاني منه شحوب وبهتان وخطوط رفيعة بعد 3اسابيع باذن الله اعيد التقييم لكن راضية جدا عن أول استخدام واعطاني نصارة فورية عندي فقط ملاحظة أن علبة السيروم كانت غير مغلفة بالبلاستيك ومحكمة الإغلاق وتاريخ الانتهاء قريب اتمنى ان انتبهوا لهذا الامر
