Nice bit of bling
Got this for my single speed conversion after removing several links and adding a chain tensioner works brilliant no slips so far 🤞🏻👍🏻

Made out of cheese. The split link is definitely weakest link.
I’ve been riding Fixies for years but this was the first time I have had a chain break on the bikes second short ride. The chain split at the split link. Plus the chain material is so soft you can’t just add a few links as it bends the sides plates. It appears once you have the correct chain length you’re stuck with it, unless you buy another chain. Luckily I had some spare Izumi chain link left which reconnected the chain with no problems. I’ve never experienced these problems before after 27 years.
