I absolutely love this hat! I bought it for summertime, especially for going out on the water. I almost always wear my hair in a ponytail or in a bun when I’m outside, so the ponytail opening is a feature I really appreciate. **Pros:** * Works with both a ponytail and a bun * Flexible and comfortable * Great tan color * Color does not bleed when the hat gets wet * Adjustable so you can tighten or loosen it * Perfect for summertime and outdoor activities * Very lightweight * One size fits all **Cons:** * None so far This hat has been exactly what I was looking for. It’s practical, comfortable, and easy to adjust, while still looking cute. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who likes wearing their hair up while enjoying the outdoors. I have had the hat for over 1 year and it still looks great.

If you have any sort of texture to your hair, you understand the perils associated with wearing a hat of any kind. Hat hair is a real thing (the horror!) and can flatten your hair texture until the next wash/style. So what do you do if you want to keep your face and shoulders protected from the sun but you also would like to keep your hair's texture from flattening out? Answer: You buy this hat! In addition to allowing your locks to escape through the open top (you can wear your hair down or up in a bun/twist), the brim is wide enough to cover a pretty good amount of your shoulders and chest, depending on how you're facing the sun. It rolls up to allow for easy packing into your luggage or beach bag too! Plus, you can still get the wind through your hair and scalp so on warmer days, you won't feel like your head is suffocating. The cons for this hat, at least that I can find so far, are as follows. (1) You do still need to wear sunscreen on your hair's part or if you have any spots where your hair is thinning. (2) If you have long hair like me, it's easy to get your hair stuck in the velcro tab. I found that flipping my head and hair forward and securing the velcro with my head upside down works best. (3) The brim does not stay as well shaped as the product photos suggest. The brim is stiff enough to not be floppy but it does get a little bent from being rolled up. All in all, this is a major summer win for me and I'll get a lot of use out of this hat. Now that I'm being much more mindful of skin damage from the sun, I'm very happy I found this product. Now I have no excuses to be protected from the sun (along with sunscreen, of course!).

I love this hat!! It provides good protection on our daily walks, and I love that I can put my hair up into a high ponytail. I was able to tighten it to fit my head easily. It folds well but does take a second to get back to the normal shape.

I have a giant head & a tremendous amount of curly thick hair that almost never fits well in one-size hats. That being said I STRUGGLE finding hats for the summer that won’t leave a bright red mark on your forehead. This hat is extremely lightweight, feels durable, it is elastic enough to wrap around with ease and won’t leave a mark on my forehead due to tightness. It is adjustable as well I can certainly recommend this to anyone that struggles finding hats like me. 10/10

The hat is very well made! The material is smooth and the hat comes with a built in sweatband. I love the versatility to be able to wear my hair up or down and the hat is adjustable to fit multiple head sizes.

The hat seems good quality and does a good job covering my face from shade. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it pulls my hair! I need to not line up the Velcro exactly because it doesn’t fit my head so it leaves it open and hurts. My hair def gets stuck and I need someone to help me. The material seems of good quality as I haven’t had any issues yes.

A friend of mine had this hat first and after seeing it, I just had to have it! WORTH IT!!! I feel stylish and sun safe wearing this hat and it will never ruin my hair. The adjustable strap is a must for anyone who gets headaches or has thick hair. Easy to pack and good quality. Dries quick but does not float so don’t drop it in the water and almost let it sink like I did😂
