Expensive but worth the money
I’ve had this heated airer for a month now and I must say I’m really happy with it. I have a 10kg washer and the airer takes the load with ease. It’s light weight and easy to put up but the clips which hold the shelves up are a little flimsy so be careful with them. I also bought a cover for it and I must say it works a treat with it on. A full load with the cover on takes around 6-8hrs to dry and to run it costs around 6p per hour. I have this in my kitchen and when it’s on it also heats the room up as well! When it arrived it did have a few marks on which I noticed while unpacking but nothing major. All in all I think it’s a little expensive for what it is, £109 for the airer and £30 for the cover but that aside it does work a treat. I would definitely recommend getting the cover for it as it shortens the drying time and also covers it nicely when packed away.

Values for money
Omg I love this. I tried it last night when it was too dark to hang anything outside. I used coat hangers and hung things in between the slats rather than drapping things over it, used a double duvet sheet to cover it and everything dried wonderfully and so quickly. I only used clothes, no towels or heavy jackets tried yet. Will be heavily using this through the winter months.

Very Useful and Saves Money Long-Term
This isn't cheap, so I had to crunch the numbers. At the moment, on the electricity rate I'm on, this works out at 9.27p per hour. Less than half the price of running 1 radiator, and when we turn the heating on, 3 come on. So it's actually 6x cheaper for me. With the money I save from using this as opposed to turning the central heating on, it will take me 50 hours of run time to pay itself off. To address comments about its sturdiness, yes it may wobble slightly, and I mean slightly, but it is very light weight and I much prefer that than having a solid heavy metal thing. The prongs get so hot you can only keep your finger on them for like 5 seconds before you have to take them off. That is how hot it gets. But that is at the highest end. The temp doesn't remain consistently that hot. It does fluctuate a little. I've not worked out what causes that fluctuation. Whether it senses loads of clothes that are wet and gets hotter, or whether it's just the product performance itself. The best thing to do for me is to put clothes on and leave it going over night. The clothes may not be completely dry in the morning if you have a thick hoodie or something though. Love it! 8/10

Game changer for Britain in the winter
I am embarrassed that I am so late to the party on a heated airer, by the time I was looking so many of the top 10 were out of stock. This was number 4 in the list, the only downside being it didn't have a cover. So I bought it anyway and some Ripstop fabric, and made one anyway. I did use it with a fitter cover or duvet cover over it and that worked ok. The airer dried a dark load from straight out of the washing machine in about 5 hours, covered. The towel wash, was left out all night without turning it on, then dried in about 9 hours from being heated. I cannot fault this, I am not sure what people are expecting and have given poor reviews; previously the towels took 4 days to dry on a standard airer, and 9 hours on this. I have been recommending it everywhere, especially as it is significantly less to run than a tumble dryer. Think drying on a radiator without having to have clothes all over the house. The cover was trick because of the shape, but I kept it simple rather than try to make it go around all the corners.

Cheaper than a tumble dryer
Amazing! I spent so long reading reviews and looking at various heated dryers that I felt overwhelmed in the choice and the lottery of whether they would be any good. I settled on this one, partially because I felt the name would mean quality. It is much more compact than the larger fold out winged driers. I can easily fit a load of clothing on here. Only has one heat setting and heats up quickly. I use it for heavier items that don't dry easily naturally. It isn't the quickest at drying - a pair of jeans/ towels may take 6 hours, a load of underwear/ t-shirts much less. However it stops clothes developing that musty smell of air drying and has been a lot cheaper than using a dryer. It was easy to put together within minutes and it was up and running.

Fantastic at First, but Flawed Design
I recently bought this heated clothes airer, and I'm very pleased with its performance. It arrived quickly, as always with Amazon, and was undamaged despite some mixed reviews on that front. I paired it with the Dry:Soon cover, which I got on sale – a worthwhile addition as it keeps the heat enclosed, making a noticeable difference. It holds a full load comfortably, but I recommend spin-drying clothes first, especially towels, to speed up drying times. Adjusting the clothes a couple of times over a six-hour period also helped, as the heat naturally rises. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this airer over a tumble dryer. As a bonus, the mesh in the cover holds the fabric conditioner scent nicely – small touch, but I like it! UPDATE: Just two months after purchase, the middle hinge on the heated airer has broken, despite no force being used when closing it. I've noticed others reporting the same issue. While it still works for now, I’m not confident in its durability, and it’s disappointing that this happened so soon, especially as it’s now outside the return window. This was, otherwise, a great alternative to using a tumble dryer.

Good in parts!
I struggle to use this! It does dry clothes quicker, but it is difficult to open it out and fold it back to store, the racks have to be lowered in a particular way, but there is no clear indication which is the correct way to do it. And as you move the frame around the clips holding the racks in place disengage. With the cover on you can only access the rail from one of the four sides. Also the rods that slot into the corners of the cover, pierce the fabric. So far I have had to covered two of ends of the rods with tape to make them less sharp! (I expect to have to do the other two rods soon). When storing with the cover on the ‘roof’ bit does not easily fall into place as shown in the instructions

My Best Buy of 2024!
Fantastic bit of kit! Heats fairly quickly and masses of drying space. Far cheaper than the tumble dryer to run than the tumble dryer, and much better with the addition of a cover (I bought a cheaper version, and it does the job). I can put it away in the summer when I can dry stuff outdoors. Managed to get even a large duvet dry in 12 hours, bedding no problem, just drape the biggest item over the top and put the cover on, dry overnight. Best thing I bought last year - have had a year's service from it, before leaving this review. Wouldn't be without it now.
