White tea leaves are harvested at a younger age of the plant Camellia sinensis. The leaves are steamed or fried to inactivate oxidation. The leaves are simply left to wither and dry on their own, which gives them a very delicate naturally sweet, and well-rounded flavour. White tea is less processed, it retains a higher amount of antioxidants of catechins which are present in fresh tea leaves. It has very little caffeine. At last I can brew a very good tea with my Nespresso machine !
I love Tea and I love Coffee and when I saw that I could make me a nice quality white tea with my nespresso machine I was so eager to taste that.The tea is excellent and of very good quality.I was afraid to have the coffee taste mixed with tea, especially white tea, but in fact if you follow the instruction of letting run the water in the cup before brewing your tea, there is no coffee taste mixed with the tea.I even did the test of drinking the tea removed from the capsule vs the one brewed from the machine and they are similar.The tea is very good and it is so convenient that I am buying more.

Not for Nespresso Vertuo
Do not purchase this if you are planning to use it in the Nespresso Vertuo machine. It will not work and this product is not returnable. Very disappointed.
