Luke warm and hard to justify
I'm going to start out by saying I think this book is a step too far. I truly don't see the justification for Allison to jump directly into cuckolding Elliot. It seems wrong and waiting for half the book for it to happen didn't make it feel any better. In my mind there are two basic types of cuckolds; those men who for whatever reason want to see their wives have sex with other men and those men who are simply have proven themselves unable to provide their wife with adequate pleasure for any number of reasons. While the motivations of the first group elude me, the second group provides the world with the bulk of it's feminized sissy males, but the issue here is Elliot doesn't fall into either of these groups. He doesn't enjoy his cuckolding and he's perfectly capable of providing Allison with pleasure if not with his cock and tongue with his ability to take pain for her. He doesn't deserve this, but because Allison's mentor dome insists the cuckolding train leaves the station in the name of complete female dominance. In my mind it's Allison who's been lazy in doing her job as Elliot's owner and she ends up getting played by her mentor. Now the author spends a great deal of time, perhaps half the book, trying to give the story the feel and authenticity of being at a major ski resort, but to me this was a wasted effort which led to a lot of ho-hum parts to this book. Bottom line, if you're looking for an exciting cuckolding story you can do a lot better elsewhere.

Helps to Be an Ardent Skier
Ariane seems to be a very nice, very dedicated, very committed authoress who truly works at her trade and cares about her literature. The book is as much a love story as anything else, wrapped in a skiing setting which is important to the plot. I have skied, it was fun, but I am not consumed by it. Ariane does not spare the words and it is, for once, an appropriate length but at times i felt she should could have been more effective with a greater economy of words.

Thoroughly engrossing story!
I'm always on the lookout for some well-written, well-executed erotic books, particularly with the dominance/submissive themes, and this story did not disappoint. It had everything I look for in a good novel. A captivating story, layered, multidimensional characters who aren't cardboard cut-outs or stereotypes, and a lovely, descriptive setting. Allison and Elliott were great! Especially Allison, I really feel she was well fleshed-out! And the ski setting really added to the enjoyment and the imagery of the story. I could picture it all in my head, in Technicolor, as I read it. This was a great book, sizzling hot, and an enjoyable read. I definitely recommend it!

Very mean S&M
This book is definitely S&M and not Sub Dom if you ask me. I read it all the way through thinking that some love and tenderness of some kind would eventually turn up, it never did. The sub seemed to be truly suffering and the dom did not seem to like him at all, despite a few lines of lip service saying she did. Hard core mean. If you want any kind of caring between your sub dom partners, look elsewhere.

page turner
This book kept my attention. I know that it was fictional but, it was well written and exciting. I can't imagine that a man would tolerate the kind of abuse he was subjected to throughout the story. Entertaining read for sure.

A Great Read as Always… Love This Author
Other than her compilations, I have read all of Ms. Arborene's books and can say that I have enjoyed them all. (haven't read thos books yet). I just check back periodically, and to my delight, there was a sequel to one of my more favourite novels! I didn't even have to think about purchasing it, just did it and haven't regretted it since. There are parts that aren't my thing, but she writes it well enough where I don't mind it being there. :)I've read this novella twice, and I've owned this book for less than 6 hours…Definitely a good buy, I highly recommend it!
