Southern Belle's Special Gift (3) (Keystone Stables)

Our daughter has a new found love for reading after purchasing this series. She has such a love for horses, that she was captivated. We went from fighting to get her to pick up a book, to having difficulty getting her to putting them away. She'd read in the tub, read in the hammock, read at the table, read instead of watching TV, read in the class room (more than she should) ... this was a totally new child. Honestly, this series was an answer to prayer. We are thankful for the Christian back ground in these books. Our daughter would come to us upset, wanting to know why God would allow certain things (based on what she just read), which in turn sparked beautiful conversation (I'm referencing all books in this series for this review, I cannot recall which exact books make her cry). As soon as she was half way through the first book, she was encouraging me to hurry and order the second one. She was going through them so quickly, I finally got smart and ordered the enter series. She is now near the end of the last book and is already BEGGING me to find more books like this. I promise you will not be disappointed with this author or these story lines.

After starting to read the first book in the series to my 8 year old daughter, she fell in love with the books and although it was a bit above her reading level she finished the book by herself. I bought her the next two books in the series for her to read, including this one, and she loved them! Great clean message in them with a dose of reality of the real life struggles one can go through due to the good/bad choices that are made. I will definitely be getting the rest of the series for her!

great horse book for younger girls. If you haven't read the keystone stables series you will love it. If you have...don't be misled like I was..the first four book are the same book with a different cover..although cute and more modern...we ended up with the same book. after the fourth they are new, that is just a word of wise. IF you haven't read them, you'll love them

Terrific horse book. Loved it. I couldn't put any of them down. I have read all 8 in the series. Once you pick up A Horse to Love, you'll want to read more to see how Skye learns to live with her family. Great for girls 10 and up.

Southern belles special gift is another amazing book in the keystone stable series. It's a fantastic book that tells that everyone deserves a chance in life. If you love horses then you will fall in love with this book!
