Sylvania 21657 - F15T8/GRO/AQ/RP Fluorescent Plant Aquarium Terrarium Tube Light Bulb

I used it for my aquarium hood.

The media could not be loaded.  It works as a light but all of my plants are dying! I had to pull it out and replace it with another brand to try to save some of my plants! I would not recommend buying this bulb.

I received this bulb on 4/30/22. I use it everyday for 12 hrs, it stopped working today. I will order another one and hope the first bulb was bad. If the next bulb dies after 3 months I will never buy one again from here! I had my old bulb for many years!

This bulb is great, it really enhances the look of fish and plants. So much better than the bulb that came with my tank.

I heard lots of odd reviews stating that this type of bulb is not bright enough and makes a fishtank look blah. We put this bulb in the tank hood and it looks just fine -- a little pinker than the regular bulb but not at all noticeable unless comparing the two lights side by side. This was also much less expensive than the same spectrum bulb sold at the fish store. We are using live plants -- time will tell if they are happy.

Arrived as advertised in a Very Long and Large box with plenty of protective wrap. Works fine. Would recommend using again.

Good Bulb! Use them for kitchen counter top ornamental plants and general work lighting. Nice bright daylight color with a very slight "pinkish" tint. Plants thrive with their use. Bulbs tend to last about three years with continuous 24 hour/day use.
