Cute book
Cute story about a duck who doesn’t know what he wants for Christmas.

Christmas fun.
I find this book funny for several reasons. First, the things that the animals ask for, i.e. the chicken asks for a helicopter, a hot air balloon, and a hang glider, and a blimp. Second, the duck's confusion about why the animals are sharing their Christmas lists with him. Third, the ending, which I won't mention here so as not to spoil it, just know it is quite amusing. The children I've shared this with quite enjoyed it. The illustrations are very appealing and suit the story quite well. The duck is surprisingly expressive for a duck. There is a nice message here about giving being better than getting..almost.

a new favorite book for Xmas
This humorous book is great to read aloud to a 4-6 year old. Once children are old enough to know about writing to Santa or making lists of what they want for Christmas, they will understand Santa Duck's problem. Also, this story touches on the question of who the real Santa is. Is it the man in a costume at the mall or is he just a helper who dresses like Santa? I recommend this funny story and the illustrations.

We have been trying to get her past nothing but princess books and she enjoyed this one
Cute story for my 5 year old. We have been trying to get her past nothing but princess books and she enjoyed this one. However, she still asks for a princess story everynight still.

Happy grandmother!
I bought this book to share with my three granddaughters for Christmas, 2009. I'm eager for the holiday season to get here so we can read about Nicholas Duck's antics! They're gonna love the action, and I'm gonna love sharing the message that helping's better than getting any day. Great book. My little angels are 6 months, 2 and 5 years old. It's never too early to start teaching.

Fun book!
My two daughters (3 and 1) both love this story! It is a short, easy read, and I love the lesson that Santa Duck learns...it is better to give than receive!

Fun book
Fun for both Dad and son! Good pictures and kids will get a kick out of the requested presents from each animal along the way.

Between the facial expressions, story and artwork it's adorable right to the last page!!! ^_^
The artwork and facial expressions are really well done, as is the last page that finishes the story.... ^_^"That poor little duck, they ask him for so much." O,OYou'd never guess who said that.... O_o
