Story line is ok…
My 2yr old loves Duck and Goose books. Although he like this book pretty well, the only down side is the examples for colors aren’t the best. For a young child like mine it is sort of hard to not confuse him with the colors they are referring to on some of the pages.

Fun Book
Loved the hardback pages with bright and colorful artwork. The colors were presented in a new interesting way as they related to Duck and Goose. And it included some out of the norm colors like gray and black. Would definitely purchase again.

Cute stories with even cuter illustrations!
My 18 month old absolutely loves Duck and Goose. He has liked them since we started reading at about 6 months old. They are one of the only books he really sits through and looks at. I do silly voices for the characters and he loves it. The stories are very simple and short but really cute. I love the colors and illustrations. This one especially has great colors and cute associations with the colors.

Great book for preschoolers.
I bought this as a gift as my granddaughter loves Duck and Goose stories. The book is sturdy. I highly recommend this book for all toddlers. Book is as described.

I’m not sure what age this is really aimed at
I bought this book for my nine month old. The pages aren’t really chunky enough for her to turn so she ends up turning a few at a time and in this sense I think it’s probably aimed at a slightly older baby. However, the pictures aren’t particularly busy so there isn’t much to talk about or describe on each page beyond what is already written, which I think is something that older children benefit from. It also means it doesn’t take very long to read as I really can’t string it out, so you don’t get much value for money! As a UK reviewer, I should also have noticed before making my purchase that the spelling of “colour” is American; the book makes references to an “inchworm” rather than a caterpillar and a “pail” rather than a bucket, which might just be a bit confusing for her in the future. My mistake, so obviously not a reason to lose stars!

A good colour primer
A really sweet exploration of colour for the little people in your life. I have a number of books on the theme and they are most definitely not all equal. It is part of a series with recurring characters which is nice. Would buy again.

Cute book
It’s a very cute book , I was expecting it to be a bit bigger some of the colour pages are a bit confusing because there is a lot going on . But my son loves ducks and we are excited to add more to our little library

Colors beyond blueberries & oranges!
This board book is absolutely perfect. Just the right size for my 1 & 2 year olds, vibrant colors, lovely pictures, and written in a manner that's thought provoking at the right age level. It also works perfectly with the short attention span of little ones.
