With a quick 40-second open time and a full cure in just 5 minutes, this 16-ounce glue stick is perfect for a variety of applications, ensuring a clean and efficient bonding experience. ## Description From the Manufacturer Pam Fastening Technology has introduced a new hot melt adhesive, UX8012 that when used in PAM's HB220 hot melt glue gun can easily create a high strength bond between carpet tack strips or metal clips and finished concrete, fiber cement backer board, or wood prior to carpet being stetched over a floor. The major advantages in using UX8012 glue with the HB220 gun are strenght of the bond and the quick 5 minute set up time of the adhesive. This allows the carpet installer greater productivity by not having to come back the next day or wait hours for the adhesive to fully cure before stretching carpet. The UX8012 must be applied at the pre-set temperature of 390 degrees on the HB220 glue gun in order to achieve maximum bond strength and an open time of 40 seconds. 1 pound pack includes approximately 19 sticks. Review: you have to hsve these - These sticks are what you bought the Pam gun for .... the best glue sticks out there for most every job. I use them for many applications but originally bought the gun and glue to help with hardwood flooring, which I install often .... great for where you would have to face nail. Glue binds wood (in moments) with a bond stronger thsn the wood itself. Review: best hot glue gun! - what a fantastic product. Hot glue just about anything. very hot operating temp...be careful. Glue will melt foam on contact due to heat. I used them to fasten alignment blocks under a corian counter I was building and had to break the blocks to remove them. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/11034656-pam-ux8012-hotmmelt-adhesive-glue-for-hb220-glue-gun-16](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/11034656-pam-ux8012-hotmmelt-adhesive-glue-for-hb220-glue-gun-16) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
