Is Pappy's Sassafras tea made from roots or bark?

I do not know what is used in Pappy's Sassafras tea but I do remember when we made the tea years ago, My uncle brought us the root to use.

Has the carsenogenic safrole been removed? if so, why don't they say that in the description and/or on the label?

Yes. By law it has too be removed.

Has anyone used this for home brewing root beer?

I have not, but it should work. It is just concentrate (no sugar other than what was in the plant) minus the safrole.
