This is an excellent book
I highly recommend this book because it is very well written and carefully thought out.

An essential part of my music collection
I've bought a lot of sheet music compilations for the classical guitar but they mostly gather dust on the shelf because often they are just too difficult. The great thing about the "Graded Repertoire..." book is that it is carefully graded. I'm about a grade 6 level player but when I want to refine my technique on easier pieces I can use this book to go back to the grade 3,4 and 5 level pieces and I know roughly how challenging they will be to play. There is no shame in playing easier pieces and playing them well. There are some lovely pieces too, I'm getting a lot of pleasure from this book.

A comprehensive document
This really has been put together well. As a member of the CGC academy myself, I was eagerly awaiting its arrival. Simon's pieces are very well chosen and fit very appropriately within all the respective grades. Accompanying notes for the pieces are informative, helpful and entertaining. My one small criticism is that I would have liked to see a hard cover ( particularly with the price being over £20) The flimsy soft cover is already beginning to turn up after only one week's usage. Nevertheless, certainly worth the purchase.

Must have for guitar students.
Nice selection of tunes for a beginner. I've been put off learning before by the repertoire but these are nice pieces and well organised to build playing skills in a sensible order. Must have for guitar students.

Good selections in increasingly difficulty levels
Good guitar book with beautiful pieces from beguinner to probably advance (or at least intermediate). The pieces are well selected, although is a question of taste, I did not like a few, but all are great for practice (it gives you a more complete knowledge of the guitar) and for playing. I have many guirar books, and what I really do not like of many is that they are not arranged for the guitar, they just have the voice or melody mostly in one or two notes at a tine with the piano chords, etc. Or tgey are just chords for strumming.... This book has arrangements fot the guitar and as such, you should be able to learn with each section giving you more challenges and increase in playing difficulty, but all in fun and obviously, if you like guitar, you should like to see the advances you make, even it you play only for you. Is not the greatest book, but I am still looking for that one, in the mean time this is one of my favorites, especially the latest pieces. Tge biginning pieces are beatiful but easy for beginners as mentioned. In addition, I like the little messages it has at the begining of each section.

Learner approved; Progress made
I have worked with the selection of classical guitar music for several years now. I find the selected pieces a great introduction for playing the classical guitar. I find the pieces challenging and practical. I have not only used the scores as a member of the online Classical Guitar Corner Academy but also in garnering instruction from one-on-one live instructors. Even after advancing through the various levels, I always return to earlier levels to find new ways of playing the music.

Ordinary binding
This book from Amazon has everything that I was expecting except the spiral binding that some of the reviews refer to. Apparently the spiral binding is available on the books ordered through the Classical Guitar Corner and not through Amazon. I look forward to using this book, but I will have to fight with getting the pieces of music to lie flat - an irritation that I wasn't expecting.

Very good overall
Very good graded exercises to progress on the classical guitar. Not for the absolute beginner, but as the title suggest very good and generally enjoyable to play classical pieces to progress with.
