Despite the graphics shown in the item description, you will NOT be impressed by either the size of the flames OR the heat output of this gas fire pit. The flames are tiny. The few lava rocks included with the fire pit is insufficient to cover the burner element, unlike the what is shown in there ads, but honestly even without the rocks, the flames are miniscule. If your expecting a warming campfire you won't get one with this. Not even nearly enough heat to melt a marshmello. This was my second choice as the first was better construction, larger diameter, taller and cost less but sadly, sold out at the time I made my order. The ONLY REASON I made this purchase was too have a campfire for my vacation in the mountains of Colorado, where there are frequent open fire bans in effect and gas(propane) fire pits are the only open fires allowed. Ironically, the fire ban was lifted when we arrived, so the firepit purchase ended up being unnecessary. But despite that, (and I'm a fairly reasonable person) this product is not as advertised and I think you'd find it as disappointing as I have, not to mention when considering the cost.

Super easy to deal with, no assembly needed except to dump the coals into the ring, and it's not heavy to transport. The connector hose is pretty long, which is really nice. The only negative is that you can't move it while it's on, which seems obvious, but friends have a similar stainless steel one with an additional outside ring that does not get hot so you can easily move it around.

Opened the box to a mess. There was red rock dust everywhere! After 15 - 20 minutes clean up time spent. During this process I found 3 sets of nuts and bolts in the box (I suppose I'm happy that they were there at least). Two nuts and bolts were needed to secure the burner to the base. There was also a round spacer and metal shield loose in the box. I assume that these were designed to attach on the underside of the pit to act as a heat shield. I can only hope I got it right as np assembly is supposed to be required and therefore no instructions.Tested the unit after cleanup and assembly. Looks good and puts out a nice amount of heat. Fits nicely in the garage of my small travel trailer.

I love how quick you pull out of the box, set the rocks, hose, tank and bamf, fire! I absolutely love this fire pit for easy set up, an a good giver of heat without fear of a wind shift and smoke in the face as normal wood fires do. Also during burn bans, these fire pits are still able to be used which is a must for the late night summer camper!

This fire pit is so lightweight and adorable! It is just the right size for your camping or beach adventure, or simply for enjoying a nice, relaxing evening on your front porch. You can place on the ground or tabletop. It has an extra-long hose to the source of gas, which allows you to conveniently put the gas tank out of sight (and more importantly, a safe distance from the fire!). The product came carefully boxed, arrived quickly, and was ready to hook up for use right out of the box. It’s made of high-quality material, has a nice cover for storage, and seems as though it will last for a long time! Definitely recommend!

It’s very easy to set up. Takes about 30 seconds. Works great! Totally portable for camping trips. I’m currently using it in windy conditions and it’s not blowing out. It is going to make backyard parties and camping really fun. Also it will come in handy when camping when there is a burn ban (which happens a lot in the summer in Idaho). It even comes with a cover for storing it away and keeping it protected. Great propane fire pit. Five stars.

When you can’t have a ‘real’ fire when camping, this fits the bill perfectly. It does not get as warm as a wood fire of course, but it was good enough. Enjoyed our chilly mountain evenings by the ‘campfire’

In a world where we can't have many outdoors fires in california, this firepit is perfect. It's easy to use and simple to put together. Very nice quality. Good so far!
