I opened it up and saw that these binoculars came in a protective cloth pouch. How nice! I attached the included neck strap, and gave them a whirl. I have to confess that I wasn't expecting much given how light they are. "Quality optics" and "lightweight" don't usually go together. That said, I was very pleasantly surprised. My eyes aren't perfect, so I had to adjust one side so that they would focus together properly, and it was easy. The focus knob was very smooth, with a good amount of drag for precision.These are advertised as "low light," but we need to keep in mind they have a 25mm objective lens. They are not supernatural, and if you need to see in very low light, you will need to get something with larger lenses. I included some photos, and they look worse than things are in real life. My phone added some fringe and loss of focus around the edges. That is not true to reality. These are much crisper in real life. The wood pile is about 175 feet away, and the handle to my car is about 15 feet away. I was happy with how close they would focus. Most binoculars won't focus as close as these do, and that's excellent for really zooming in on things close by. They do have a little chromatic aberration (red and blue outlines on things with high contrast) but it's completely acceptable. These are not $300 Nikon binoculars!My eyes are set a bit close together, and I have a hard time using some binoculars because they do not adjust close together enough. Not a problem with these. My 5-year-old is able to use them.You won't notice these in your backpack, and you'll be glad to have them, so get out there and see some things close-up! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not a Toy *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2019* For inexpensive biniculars, there are quite a few things I actually like about these. First, then arrived very quickly. Then another surprise, when I discovered that these are much higher than toy quality. These are real biniculars. They are small, which is great for kids' small hands, but large enough that my big hands can operate easily. The lens and image quality is surprisingly decent despite the low cost, and the frictional resistance if the body hinge, focusing, and diopter adjustment have an excellent feel to them and stay put where you set them. So a few very pleasant surprises, and this pair will fit nicely in my tackle box. Now I need another pair for the glove box. I recommend these as pleasantly surprising for such low cost, and compact enough to be kept out of the way in handy places, and very light for backpackers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Compact, Lightweight, Great value! *by M***G on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2019* These binoculars shipped very quickly, and a great value for the price! They are very compact and lightweight; they come with a neck strap and could be worn for long periods of time. I plan to keep these my vehicle, which is nice that they included a carrying pouch vs. lens caps which tend to get lost. I have not been able to test these in cold weather yet, but the picture is crystal clear from what I have experienced so far. The focus is user friendly and not overly sensitive, also offers single side focus adjustment for people with eye site different in each eye.
