I really like this journal! In comprison to the mole skin it's very hardy, the paper is better quality (less thin and doesn't bleed), has MORE paper and has the same aesthetic as a mole skin. I would definitely suggest this over the moleskin.

The paper in this book is incredibly scratchy. You can only use a ballpoint pen or a fountain pen otherwise it will rip up your nibs. No brush pens. You cannot paint on this paper- which I thought I might be able to since the paper was supposed to be thick, but it just soaks up the watercolor and you cannot get any depth. I would never buy this product again. I do not sketch with graphite, but it might be okay for that since the paper is incredibly rough.

140 Gramm fast glattes Papier. Das Journal ist den Moleskies nachempfunden und hat auch die Einstecktasche im Buchrücken. Das Papier ist nicht ganz so rauh wie beim Moleskine Watercolour Sketchbook, ist Geschmacksache, ich komme mit beiden zurecht, allerdings habe ich hier mehr Seiten zur Verfügung und es ist ein paar € günstiger. Leider ist bei dem mir gelieferten Exemplar der Rücken schlecht verarbeitet, was ich aber eher als Ausnahme ansehe, da ich mehrere andere Journale besitze, die tadellos verarbeitet sind. Mein Tip: probiert mal das Sketchbook im Landschaftsformat aus. Das hat zwar keinen Gummi und kein Einsteckfach, aber 80 Seiten vom gleichen Papier und wird hier öfter mal "saugünstig" im 2er - Pack angeboten!
