Leaving the heater off a night and using this instead
TL;DR: works well as long as you follow regular usage patterns, its pretty slow to warm and the app is a bit finicky.Comfort wise, it makes my bed feel a bit less comfortable but its not too noticeable. I don't feel the wires but I can feel the stitching if I try but I usually don't notice it.I usually head to bed approximately 10PM on a regular basis. Its pretty slow to warm up (I'd say takes a good 1-2 hrs if you use a lower heat setting) but I address this by using the smart app's scheduling system and have it turn on to my setting of '2' after 8PM on a regular basis so it has a good 2 hour head start. My s/o uses the 'L' setting which is the lowest.Note that it will take a bit of trial and error when using the heated pad, it may feel comfortable running a higher setting in the initial hours but after a few hours deep in sleep, you may wake up in the middle of the night feeling like your back and legs are on fire. I started off with a 5/6 the first few days and found it too hot and eventually settled for a 2 (which is the second to lowest setting). My issues with the app:- It has a caching bug and I regularly have to close the app on iOS and reopen it in order for it to correctly show the actual remote heat setting and timer counter.- The timer setting only allows timer selections with half hour intervals between .5 and 10 hours and 24 hours. I'm not sure why they decided to stop at 10 and jump to 24. Since I want to have the pad on between 8PM and 8AM (which is 12 hours), I have to do something silly: create a schedule that turns on at 8PM for 10 hours and then turn on again at 6AM for 2 hours.- The preheat feature doesn't seem to be automated, you need to manually select preheat and then change down to your desired setting once its warm enough. The scheduling doesn't have automated preheat so I just have it scheduled to turn on two hours before I actually go to bed.Overall I think the product is pretty solid, it already saved me about $70 last month by allowing my s/o and I to turn off the heater at night time (no thanks to PG&E and their insane natural gas prices in the Bay Area).

Nice pad
Bought this for my wheelchair bound brother in-law. He was having trouble covering up at night and couldn't reach the controller for the regular heating blanket. This pad was wonderful for him! It was easy to put on the bed, has enough give and elastic to stay on the bed and not tear when the bed was adjusted. Having control via the phone app was especially helpful! He can warm it up before going to bed and change the settings with his smart watch.

Overall nice
We've had other mattress pad warmers before and I think this one is nicer quality and more padded. There are a couple things I would change though keeping it from 5 stars. First the safety warnings are a giant 10x10 panel that is sewn into the *top* of the mattress pad, so someone's feet get to feel that every night (not terrible, but noticeably different than the rest as you move). Second the controllers don't shut off. You set a temperature and a length of time and the heat *will* shut off when the time expires, but the controller stays on with 0 blinking forever. This means if someone forgets to turn it off each morning, your first click to turn it on at night just turns the controller off and doesn't actually turn on heating. Minor frustrations but the heat is amazing once you get it above 8 (at least on a cold Colorado night).

Is it on or is it off?
This is a very nice, very comfortable mattress pad. You cannot feel the wires when you sleep on it, and I have a large, full-size mattress, and it fits actually a little large on it. It stays in place on the bed. As far as heating is concerned that heats well it seems that the entire top of the mattress is warm. The only problem that I have with it, and the reason that I gave it a one star on the temperature control is that first of all there were no instructions how to use that temperature control. So I went online and I figured that out however, you turn it on you push the button, you set your temperature and the light goes out so that is the thing on or is it off? I donโt want to have this on when Iโm not home during the day so every morning I have to make sure that itโs turned off. Itโs kind of a big pain because you canโt determine just by glancing at it what it is. Trying to adjust it during the night is ridiculous. This is a very good quality product. however, that temperature control is very poor.

Love it - except for two small things
My drafty southern california bedroom is always in the low 60s, and I absolutely cannot sleep if I'm cold. I take ages to warm up (think hours) and nothing works to keep me warm enough except a heated mattress pad. My last one took a dive and the company didn't make it anymore, so I had to switch brands.I love the temperature control here -- I think it goes up to 20, which is plenty, even for me. It heats pretty evenly and quickly, which are my main concerns. (I do wish this was a dial set instead though, so that I didn't have to re-set the temp every night) It's also water resistant, which is a must when you have an elderly cat like mine. There are a couple caveats though. First is the plug placement. My last pad had it on the corner of the mattress pad. Since I have a full bed, with only one heating 'zone' this made perfect sense, and kept it out of the way. This one is smack dab in the middle, and whether I put it at the head or the foot, I am always finding it in the middle of the night. It's big, it's hard, and it's annoying. The second is the noise. I'm mostly used to it now, but I sleep on my stomach without pillows, and there is a discernable sound when the heat kicks on. It honestly kept me up the first couple weeks. This is probably the 4th heated pad I've bought, and I've never had this problem before!

Very happy with my new heated mattress pad.
This was a replacement for a very similar, very old bed warmer. It is wonderful. The preheat feature warms the bed quickly. Not sure what number the preheat is equivalent to, but if I don't change the dial myself and fall asleep, the dial is at 2 and that's often too warm. The real test will come next winter when it gets very cold at night. The dial is easy to see in the dark. I don't feel any wiring. Combined with a new mattress I am sleeping very well.

Best Heated Mattress Pad I Ever Owned in the last 10 years
Overall comfort, heat variables and sturdiness makes this the best one I have ever owned. I have had 3 different ones over the years, and this is by far the best.

Great product
We have had several of these but this one is the one we like best, easy to setup and connect to the App and Alexa. No longer have to remember to turn it on before we go to bed and programmed to turn off when we tell Alexa goodnight. It also seems to have better heat coverage as well.

Heat from barely anything to feverishly hot
My girlfriend and I like to sleep in a cool room with warm blankets, only I liked the room cooler than her and she'd get chilly. Boom, with this, the bed's always just right and I can turn the heat nearly off overnight! Saves us money on our heating bill and the bed is just oh-so-welcoming.So naturally, my daughter wanted one of her own. This twin-sized one was for her, and she loves it.The heat goes from basically not noticeable (1) to about my own body temperature (4, which is how I like to sleep) to really hot like you wanna melt those muscles knots in your back (8) to "oh no my bed's going to catch fire" (12, which I use for about 5 minutes to preheat the bed). I sometimes feel like any heat beyond 6 isn't really useful for anything, but it's nice to have the option! The auto-shutoff works great. The only minor complaint is that the screen stays on (with the LED off, of course) once the auto-shutoff did its thing, and I think you can't adjust the heat without turning it off and on again. It's just a minor nuisance and nothing I'd fight over, it's just a little quirk you have to learn.Overall I love it, and I don't see myself surviving winters without one anymore.

great app to control it
I set it on hi and one hour after it will drop to 4, still plenty to keep the bed warm. I haven't used alexa, just the app and I'm happy with it all.
