With a superior airflow bellow and a protective heat shield, this smoker ensures safety and ease of use, making it an essential piece of equipment for both novice and professional beekeepers. ## Description Why choose The ASEOK Bee Hive Smoker for beekeeping? ✓ New redesigned beehive smoker with wider and durable botton made from stainless steel. ✓ Protective heat shield (Protective guard around smoker) and hook on the top prevent you to burn from a hot surface. ✓ Mounting hook on the front side of heatshield for mounting. ✓ Perforated removable fire base plate provides air pocket at bottom of smoker to ensure good air flow. ✓ Contains bellows made from leather. How to use the bee smoker? Light a medium-size piece of newspaper with a match or lighter, push it into the smoker using your hive tool, then add a little fuel, pumping the bellows vigorously until you have a good, hot fire. Add a little more fuel and pump until it is burning well. Now fill the smoker with more fuel (pine needles, wood chips or scraps, sawdust, etc.) Pump the bellows until you get plenty of thick, white smoke, then stop. Wait a couple minutes after smoking a hive before opening it. You want to give the bees some time to gorge on honey.
